#43Phoneix is looking like a play on the moneyline. I have noticed that there is always a lot of late movement closer to game time in the Hockey games.Comment -

#44now i have no clue what you're doing.Originally posted by packbacker79Hey guys...sorry I have been MIA. Full weekend. Below are the games that had RLM Fri, Sat, and Sunday.

Carolina +1.5 W (ML Win)(Line went from +134 to +113 with 66% on Phoenix)
either you've changed the rules completely or something is out of whack (maybe me) .if a team (like NY) has the most number of bets (53%) and the line goes against them (-120 to -139) how is that RLM? Isn't that what you would expect the line to do? in other words, in order for it to be RLM the line has to move in the opposite direction that logic would dictate.
i thought the line had to move the other way for it to be RLM, such as it was in the following games you posted at the beginning of the thread.
Bruins +1.5 W (ML win)(Line went from Capitals -182 to -157 w. 65% on Capitals)
Flames +1.5 W (ML win)(Line went from Predators -156 to -134 w. 57% on Predators)
Hurricanes +1.5 W (ML win)(Line went from Sharks -203 to -193 w. 76% on Sharks
the line movement and plays of these games completely contradict the line movement and plays of the games at the top of the page.
if a team has 65% of the bets (capitals) and the line goes from -182 to -157 that's RLM because the line moved in the opposite direction from what you would expect. you would expect the line to go against the team with the most number of bets--not in their favor. you would expect the line to get worse--not better.
in every example at the top of the page, all of the lines got worse--not better. exactly as you would expect them to do. hence, they are not RLM.
what am i missing here?Comment -
