Official Wednesday Plays

ATL (+130) Bookmaker $100 to win $130
I think the law of averages will be in effect tonight as the Thrashers come in having lost 3 straight while the Rangers have won 3 straight. Atlanta has had success over the last few years vs the Rangers as they have won 5 of the last 6 meetings including the last 3 in NYC. Atlanta is well rested and should be anxious to put an end to their mini slump.

PIT/TAM Over 1.5 (1st) (-122) Pinnacle $305 to win $250 <P.O.D.>
The Lightning have proven to be this year's Washington Capitals in the 1st period thus far going 8-0 for the 1st period over. Of course they will not keep up this torrid pace all year but I think it continues for at least one more period tonight. Historically these two have played more unders than overs recently but with both confirmed starters (Fleury vs Smith) in the bottom part of the NHL in stats I see both letting in at least a goal each in the 1st.

May have a play on the later two games but this is it for the 4 early games.

POD...: BIG FAT OVER Mon/NYI... If there's 1 thing the islanders proved in this season is that they can score... totaling 2 or more goals on their L5 games. Added with poor goaltending by both teams i dunno why over is a huge dog...
Besides... 5dimes have their line at 6.5 so that's reassuring...

Love the thrashers pick. good luck. i got them at +122, so you've definately beaten the closer (barring anything unusual happening). Playing the under in that game as well.

Pitt/Tampa - U/6, Hawks/Kings - u/5.5. I also like the u/ int he devils/sharks game, but too much juice. might see how the early games go and consider u/5,5.5.
