NHL is crazy... it seems a lot less predicable than other professional sports.

Nice call D.G. on the Van/Col 1st period Over. They were a cash cow last year. The reason i haven't played more is i dont understand the numbers at pinnacle on this game is was like 196 or something, how does that relate to -115?

That's fine with me man. I like my thread to have lots of discussion and mentioning what plays you're on is fine as long as everyone doesn't start posting their official plays then it just becomes a huge cluster fvck

no issues with me doing that. i dont have 'official plays' or a record. i just like to put my 2c in and make some cash.

hockey has been

for me this season so far. i've adjusted a lot things i've looked at this season and i've refused to lay much chalk and playing mainly totals.

In general 1st Period Overs seem to be up this year from last year, you are just choosing the wrong games...you will turn it around

Yeah the problem is the games that should go under are going over and vice versa. It will balance out eventually.

Stephane Robidas will be suspended for the Stars' next game after earning his second game misconduct penalty for boarding in the last 41 games.
He received a five-minute major and a game misconduct for hitting Anaheim forward Matt Beleskey in the third period on Tuesday night. His other infraction occurred back on March 16 against San Jose last season, which earns him an automatic one-game ban. Robidas will miss Thursday's game against the Los Angeles Kings as a result.

DG i guess what im saying is, when i went to pinnacle today the OVER (1st) period TB/PIT it gives me 1.826 i didn't understand how to convert that to american odds. Today i found in post#67 of your POD thread a calulator to do this. So if im right that game is -121. Is this correct? I've been wanting to bet some 1st period overs all year after watching you make good money on them last year. Thanks for the info.

Hey CarolinaDaze; at the very top of the Pinnacle page there is a drop down menu for decimal or american odds. You don't need a calculator, you can switch back and forth
