haha i just been lucky today. yesterday i had a small loss on bball. overall though i think basketball is much more predictable than hockey. thats why you have -800 favorites in basketball and nothing over -250 in hockey.

i think college basketball divisional play is the best for betting. most of the time you can count on the home team winning, especially if they won like 9 out of the last 10 home games against this particular team. i often bet huge chalk in college bball for that reason, sometimes -300 or -400. these are often almost guaranteed. in hockey on the other hand almost nothing is ever guranteed. but the juice is way lower on the favorites. that is why i still play it.

yeah man probably a good idea to take a break or just blindly tail someone. you are on a full tilt this past week. this exact thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago and i just started to tail you for a little while. i jumped off the wagon after we won a bunch of money at the start of the week and thenlost about 600$ each. i am sure one of the posters on here has been hot lately so we can tail

If you had watched the game you would have seen how the Nucks werent just flinging it on net from all over, Halak absolutely robbed them point blank at least 6-7 times.

I actually played almost ever over/under and side....what a bad thing to do. Out of character from me. WIth LA Kings and Sharks pending.

DG, I believe you'll get back to you're winning ways. Just unlucky today, it was horrible watching the canucks game. They had the better chances and could'nt finish.

There's good value on the sens at +120 on a 9 game win streak while the sabres have dropped 5 of the last 7, but as a Sabres fan I hope the Ottawa team bus gets struck by a meteor... so I won't be betting on them.

I don't know if it's action junkie taken over me but I'm considering plays on all 5 1st periods.
All stats are for 1st periods only.
Ott ML - Ott is 7-0-2 in its last 9. They quadrupled thier W total on the road for the season in the past two weeks. Buffalo has been playing well at home, 4-1-1 last 6 but I think Ott hot streak overall will trump Buff home streak. At +113 I see Ott as good value.
Chi ML or CHI PL - Chi is the top road 1st period team in the league. StL 1st period record on the road is not as impressive as thier overall road record. The big juice on CHI, -190 may have me take the PL +115 or sit this one out.
Car/Cal U1.5 - Calgary is an under machine at home. O/U is 4/16 at home since Nov 7th. O/U is 1/6 past 7 at home. Car has been over in 6 of the last 7 road games but I'm putting more faith in the Flames Home Under record.
Phi ML - Edm is the worst team in the 1st period in the league, home and away. Flyers are 3rd best in the league and 4th best on the road. Flyers are 5-1-4 last 10 on road, 11-3-6 in thier last 20 overall.
Ana ML - Ana 6-1 last 7 at home. Det is in the bottom 3rd for away teams. While Ana is the lowest scoring team on the road, they are 3rd overall at home for GF.

So I have 5 leans for today. Need to decide whether the action junkie in me is trying to force the issue or if they are all solid plays.

Just remember the goal for teams is to win the game. Only in holiday tournaments does a hockey team get a point for winning the period. Good Luck...Hope you go 5-0!!

)
Anyways u gotta teach me the ropes to it, and also how to bet smarter in hockey lol. I got 100$ on the caps winning yesterday, the flyers and the blackhawks winning today. If any of them lose i go home with nothing if all of them win i collect 300$

Let's hope that'll happen tmr when people pays me for once

i am gonna post some college ball plays tomorrow. i made some plays today but its too late. i probably shouldnt post basketball plays in this thread anyways since its dedicated to hockey.

for tonight i am mostly doing basketball but i also went small on Ottawa. THey have owned Buffalo lately and are on a crazy hot streak. i am watching the game and its not looking too go so far even though its still 0-0

GL on your plays. I should have had Capitals but made a boneheaded move by taking Wash in 1st period and losing thanks to the refs doing that 5-3 powerplay. I knew that there is no way Boston is beating Wash but decided to save the juice just in case. bad move, should have gone ML

i cant beleive you guys still bet on Chicago with that kind of line. there is no way i would lay that kind of chalk in hockey no matter who was playing. and here you have a good road team against a team back from a long road trip that didnt exactly shine.

they might still pull it out though. they have the talent.

from now on, i dont think i will be betting on any favorite above -160. just not worth it in hockey

Was/NYR O1.5 - Washington highest scoring road team. NYR top 10 in GF and GF+GA at home.
Was ML - Washington #2 road team. NYR 9-8-12 at home but after a good start are 3-7-3.
Dal/Clb U1.5 - O-U 9-17 for Clb at home and 3-10 in last 13. Dallas has had 4 straight Overs on the road and is due for an under. 15-13 O-U on road for season.
TB ML - TB underreated as a Home 1st period team. 6th best at home. Unbeaten last 10 at home. NYI middle of pack road 1st period team.
Ott ML - Van bottom 5 1st period road team. 1-5-4 last 10 on road. Ott on a roll. 7-0-3 last ten 1st periods.
Col/Nas U1.5 - Nas 10-17 O-U at home. Col 12-17 o-u on road, 3-7 last 10.
Ana/LA U1.5 - Ana O-U is 8-22 on road. The GF+GA is 30 in 30 road games for Ana. Ana for me is an auto U1.5 whenever on the road until they show otherwise. O-U 1-9 last 10 road games. LA O-U 2-8 last 10 at home.
