Detroit gets a big boost with Franzen returning to the lineup and STL although they have played the Wings tough this year are in the second end of a back to back and have struggled on back to back games this year. The Wings sit on the playoff bubble and should be motivated to pick up the two points tonight. The Wings play well in STL having won 4 of the last 5 meetings.

Yeah got very lucky in that one. Looked good 0 goals 17 minutes into the first, then two late ones and 3-2 through 2 I had pretty much written it off but luckily no goals in the 3rd.
NHL is a tough sport to predict consistently, there are always a large amount of upsets on a daily basis.
NHL is a very unpredictable sport, it's been tough sledding lately with a lot of break even or small losses. Just gotta stick to it and keep grinding, in the end profit will always be made if you stick to your long term plans. From here on out I will be sticking to odd amounts of plays that way I won't go 1-1 and have a small loss each night. Either 1 or 3 plays nightly for me, or more if there's a lot I like.Comment -

Two struggling teams collide tonight as the teams have combined for 5 wins in their last 20. Nashville played last night while the Rangers come in well rested after three days off. Nashville has lost five straight on the road and have not been too impressive lately so with these low home odds I have to take a shot with the Rangers.
PHI vs NJ Under 5.5 (-135) Pinnacle $135 to win $100
The under hit between the two teams two days ago and it was a lot closer than it should have been with some late goals and sloppy play. I like the under again tonight and I think this time the game should be more tight checking seeing as it is in New Jersey and away from the crazy Philly fans demanding blood. The under is 3-1 between the two teams this year including the last 3 meetings and 7-3 in the last 10 meetings. It looks like Leighton and Brodeur will go again tonight. The Flyers are 7-3 for the under in their last 10 and the Devils are 6-3-1.

Very low juice on this one considering Price is the confirmed starter for the Habs. Price hasn't played in two weeks and his first assignment back he draws the rampaging Caps. Price should be in for a long night tonight. Neuvirth appears to be going for the Caps and although he's been solid he is still capable of having a bad game. The Caps have averaged 4.9 goals a game over their last 10 which is absolutely absurd and they are fully capable of covering this total on their own on any given night. I like the 1st period over as well in this one as MTL is 4-1 for the 1st period over in their last 5 home games, and the Caps are 4-1 for the over in their last 5 road 1st periods. The Caps are the highest scoring 1st period team in the league and the Habs have given up the 5th most goals.

I like all of these games but the juice is way too high for me to bet them individually so I will do a rare parlay. The Pens catch the Isles on the second leg of a back to back at home where they are 5-0 vs the Isles in the last 5 meetings. The Pens have lost two straight and will be eager to get back to their winning ways. The Caps pick is pretty obvious as they have been crushing everyone in their way and have won 7 of the last 10 meetings. The Ducks are playing great hockey and are making a serious playoff push. They are money at home and the Oilers have started a new losing streak and I look for that to continue tonight.Comment -
