STL vs VAN Over 5 (-140) Creditwagering $140 to win $100
These two teams always play spirited games against each other as there seems to be a strong dislike between the two teams. The over is 2-1 in the 3 meetings this year. The Canucks are averaging 4 goals a game at home over their last 5 and the Blues are averaging 2.8 goals in their last 5 road games. This line should be at 5.5 in my opinion so I like the look of this line at 5.Comment -

This line is moving up to 6.5 in a lot of books so I snagged this at 6 before it went up. Neuvirth and Giguere in net should equal a lot of goals. I usually don't like 6 or higher totals but to me this is a 4-3, 5-3 type of game. The Caps are scoring machines at home and are 5-1 for the over playing on no rest so they should score at least 4 tonight.Comment -

Ducks are last in the league for GF average and 2nd best in GA average in Away 1st periods. O/U is 1-7 in the past 8 for Ana on the road 1st period. As much as the Caps make the over seem like a slam dunk, The Ducks make a strong case for the under. Caps are tied for 2nd for the most goals at home in the 1st. The team they are tied with is Anahiem. The other interesting stat is that Washington is tied for the 2nd fewest Goals Against at home in the 1st.
I have a feeling for the under in this one. But lately my plays based on feelings leave me feeling blue so I'm sitting this one out. Plus it's doesn't seem to be a good idea to go against DG either.Comment -

good stuff DG. I guess I will only be playing the Wash/Ana 1st period plays. the other lines moved, St.L/Van to 5.5 and Wash/Ana to 6.5. I think i will pass on these. there have been a few 3-2 games when Van plays Blues. At the lines you had i would have definately bet it. i gotta get a Matchbook account, bookmaker is killing me with juice and high lines
