Bleh the NHL is a mess for me right now... what is going on?
The pens have been shit for a month, the devils can't score, I lose my bet in any game the wild play in... ****ing christmas trees... and then you have no idea what to expect anytime the jackets, leafs, flyers etc. take the ice. BLAH!!

LOL yeah favorites have been getting killed lately it's been tough. I have been doing better on totals than sides lately.

some nights the totals look like the better bet, others nights its team picks. but one things for certain:

you have no idea what to expect anytime the jackets, leafs, flyers etc. take the ice. BLAH!!

their on my list of teams to 'wager with caution'

DET vs WAS Over 1.5 (1st) (-115) Pinnacle $230 to win $200
I'm a little surprised this line is so low considering the total is 6 but I guess it's because Detroit is 15-30 for the over this season. WAS dictates the pace at home so I think DET will be forced into an offensive battle. The 1st period over is 6-0 in the last 6 meetings and with all the talent in this game I really like the 1st period over. Even better is that Chris "most overrated goalie in NHL history" Osgood and Jose "how the hell did I win a vezina?" Theodore will be starting. Both should be overwhelmed from the talent coming at them. Hitting this one hard.

Nice find...A little weird though being the Overall is 6. Which qt do they think the scoring is gonna happen..

I guess the later periods. The line was -110 earlier and went up to -115 so I made sure to get on it before it went higher. Or maybe not at all the over 6 is actually at +100.

i dont know what is going on with that line. the under is at -120 now. over 1.5 in 1st is now at -130. strange things. i think i will be staying away from this game. something is up.

what do you guys think about the late games? i think Buf and SJ should be good bets at these lines. when do u ever get SJ at -120 and Buf at even.

I cant beleive PHI is a -220 favorite against Columbus team that almost beat Chicago. i am almost tempted to take CBJ. suddenly they are playing pretty well.

For me 1 unit is $100. I stick to 1 and 2 unit bets only. I am a grinder so I like to steadily climb (and drop sometimes

) a few units at a time. It's what I feel comfortable betting that's why I do it. I am too much of a degenerate to endure huge 10 unit swings in one game

As a general rule I don't like to put more than 10% of my bankroll on one game. I'm sure pros bet even less probably like 1-2% a game. Just bet whatever you feel comfortable with, don't overextend yourself.

DG: do you have any interest at this point to make a play on the BUF-ANA game, with the Sabres playing a 2nd game in 24 hrs, and Lalime getting the call. I'm liking BUF at even money considering how well they played last night in PHX, and also the Over at 5.5. What are your thoughts?

I ended up pumping the TOR/ATL up to a two unit bet at the last minute. It just didn't feel right only betting 1 on that one and 2 on the Caps.

the annoying thing is that i live in the uk so dont get any hockey matches that you dont have to pay for, so i use online feeds that dont always work...........like tonight! so im watching the espn nhl scores lol........bit sad
