Minnesota's recent string of home victories has been impressive but I see it coming to an end tonight. The Canucks are coming off of a heart-breaking (corrupt?) loss to the Predators and will be hungry to put that nightmare to rest and move forward. The Canucks play the Wild tough having won the last 5 meetings and 8 of the last 10 overall. VAN has won the last 4 meetings in Minnesota and I see them getting it done tonight.

The Caps will likely be one pissed off team today after yesterday's embarassing loss. The Caps have won all 3 meetings vs the Panthers this year by an average of 3.33 goals per game. The Caps are 4-1 in the last 5 meetings in Florida. Ovechkin is going to get at least 2 tonight he will be fired up and I think the Caps go nuts tonight.

LOL never actually played checkers vs my Grandma just was using it as a comparison and it popped into my head for some reason. Nah man I am super competitive. I try to stay professional and keep it clean the majority of the time but I am short tempered and prone to going on extreme tilt when I don't win

the one time i bet wash -0.5 and 1st period outright they go and do this! soo frustrating as they are one of the best 1st period teams in the league. what happens if its 1-1 after 1st period with my 1st period outright? i only ask as my bookmaker didnt give me an option for a tie

wash could easily come back in this game. its only 2 goals. wash had as many chances to score as FL. if not for a shitty goalie, it would still be 0-0

I'm not a big fan of these 1st period side bets but it's worth a shot I guess. Sucks that you don't get your money back if it's tied though.
