On a small consolation note, the last ditch effort to save something after 2nd half disaster (TB+4,5 @ 2,40) did the job, based purely on presumption PHI won't push anymore while TBL still are better team (not today, of bloody course).

I can take losing, I can take even heavy beatings, they inevitably happens, but I won't ever understand how professionals can afford just not bother to turn up for the game, 3rd period does not count as game was long over - before that hardly any shots on goal, each stupid penalty trumped by even more diabolical ones, goalies can't stop pucks for dear life, no help from defense players either and blokes did not seem to even care as PHI were not required to do anything special to cruise to easiest of wins, just wait for the TBL to do yet another stupid thing.

every now and then you see this with almost every team in NHL...sometimes just everyone decides to take a day off...it happens even with good teams

Thanks bud. You are right, of course, that's the beauty of sport, that you can never be sure. Just had to vent out my frustration as so many times things go wrong as soon you have made your choice and the bigger money involved the bigger chance for that to happen. Still I am dumb enough to hope always for better thing to come right around the corner.

What's your opinion on LAK-TOR game? I am leaning toward an Over, as TOR can score and can concede even more.

actually that game looks pretty good for O5.5, predict oilers to score 2-3 goals --> allen is 6-1-1 with a 2.51 gaa and .896 sv% at scottrade center this year.

yeah I was leaning the over also...but not going to add anything tonight...there are a lot more interesting games to work with tomorrow
