Just put in small bet for TB ML (-137)...Lightning have won 6 straight vs Philly...not a bad road team this year either.

About to put in Avs TT (U 2.5) -120...I thought this would be about -130...since Dec. 1, Avs have played 7 road games and have averaged 2 gpg...5 coming at Buffalo...
Holtby has a 2.00 GAA on Mondays and an impressive 1.60 GAA in wins...I think Caps win this one, so thinking a 4-2 or 3-2 Caps winner...would rather pay the -120 juice than the -170 juice for ML...and like I said, I think likelihood is Caps win by 1.

I just watched the Shootout between Kings and Jets. I can't believe how bad this LA team is... They are praising Quick's desperation save all over the communities but one totally missed how shitty individual efforts his teammates made:

1. Slapshot by Doughty. The most moronic thing to do in a shootout.
2. Mishandled puck.
3. Wrister into goalie's blocker.
4. Wrister wide of the net.

They are 1-6 in SO so far in the season so no matter if Quick made 3 saves like that his team would still blow it for him.

Thanks bro - I have that feeling too! There were a lot of no-plays for me that resulted in losses, so that's a sign right there that I need to play less games and put a little more down on those I play.
That Buffalo Under last week was an example of that.
Too bad I lost that Broncos parlay yesterday...will only give me a small profit for my futures bets on GB +275 and Seattle +225 to win the NFC that I put in 2-3 weeks ago...at least it will ensure a nice little profit in that.

Steve Mason will miss two weeks because of his knee injury...Originally, Mason was only supposed to miss one week of action, but it appears as though the injury is more serious than anticipated

Flyers are in serious trouble...I say we add over 2.5 and maybe even over 3.5 for TB for tonight

I was liking Lightning +170 to win the division, but good Lord - take a look at their schedule in February - really tough games in there...Habs could have an easier road to the division...pretty light schedule in February.

What's the deal with teams suffering a letdown after a road trip? I would think it's the other way around...team excited to be back home...is it fatigue? In mlb, teams typically do well upon returning from a road trip with a day off.

Yeah, but I'd rather play Lightning more from here to the rest of the season...typically with futures bets, I tend to not bet much with that team for individual games...for some reason.
Like Bruins last season - I had them at +450 to win the East - by the end of the season it dropped to like +170 because they had won so much the 2nd half of the season and I not once bet on them...they ended up losing in the 2nd round, so my futures bet was lost and so were all the chances I had to bet on them before that.
Trying to stick with Preds and Hawks this year even though I have futures bets with both.
