This has been a tough stretch in nhl for a lot of us...I have had 5 straight losing days...just very small losses each day.
Tough games to call.
Seems I do best with the favorite at -1 and dog at +1.5
Did that with Hawks last night and Preds tonight.
Strong lean to Blues, but since they are not doing too hot on road, played them at +1 tonight and small on Preds ML to hedge.

I've noticed a lot of success with other cappers playing under 5.5 and over 5. Most of the 5s are at least pushing. And I'm seeing a ton of under 5.5.

I must be playing the wrong Unders lately...seems like more Overs hitting with total of 5.5 than Unders...think it has balanced out since the first couple months. But yes, many Overs with total set at 5 and quite a few pushes.
In fact 4 of the last 5 Unders I've played at 5 have been pushes and 1 loss...may as well stay away from Under 5 unless it's pretty obvious.

I was wondering why everyone on Sharks tonight.
I was on Jets.
I can not buy a win lately...like 2 of my last 10...and all close losses except for Sharks vs Blues.
Staying away from Sharks for a while.
Can't win at home and win every once in a while on road.

I feel your pain. After reloading I was hitting 57-60% winners. Then just had a collapse around the holidays. Now I'm at a measly 51.3%. Not gunna win me much. That's why I've been trying to play more dogs. I can still profit at that % on them instead of favs.

Guess you're right...I just never win picking dogs...probably hit 20% of them.
Maybe I should just be the Hawks -1 and Habs -1 every game...that should profit.

Wow - all dogs tonight.
I like Habs and Oilers.
Isles not a bad play, but I would lean Vancouver at a good price for a very good home team...but I don't follow as much and hardly get to watch hockey.
My big play is Carolina TT (U 2.5)
Got a couple Unders too and a parlay if the first one above hits.

Wow - we finally agree on a couple!
I have Hawks -1 and Ott-Col (U 6)...been burned by empty net goals with less than 5 seconds left far too often...4 times in the last 10 days or so with the total at 5.5.
Will also be playing Rangers TT (U 2.5) and a parlay with Blues +1.
