Hutton v. Pavelec. Hutton continues to let goals in with every start he gets. He has now allowed at least three goals in each of his last four starts with four goals or more allowed in three of those. The Preds offense has kicked up a notch to cover that with 14 goals in their last three overall. Pavelec has allowed at least three goals in six of his last seven starts. The Jets offense has been inconsistent, so I think it is the key ingredient here. They have scored at least twice in 6/8 overall and have scored four goals in 3/5 @ home. NAS rides a four game OVERs streak into this one.

Sharks look to get a shot at Cam Ward tonight. Ward has let in at least three goals in 6/7 starts. SJ struggled to score last night, but they were throwing lots of shots on goal against Pittsburgh. A similar effort tonight should yield better results from a team that had scored 14 goals in the three games prior to last night. Stalock for SJ has been solid in his spot starts, so I am not expecting Carolina to go off - yet they have scored at least twice in 9/10 overall. LA has only scored four or better once in their last ten, but given that the Isles are putting Kevin Poulin out tonight - this is worth a go for me. Poulin has allowed three goals or more in eight of his last nine starts. Only twice in those eight did the opposition fail to net a 4th goal. Eight of 13 road games for NY have seen the opponent score at least four goals, including eight of the last nine.
