Well at least it was plus money, but I really hate losing overs when the games finish at 5 goals. Majority of my losses this season have been exactly that.

I'm trying an odd one to start, but the stats back it up. Only thing I don't like is the juice, but it seems most 2nd period bets are high juice as more scoring is expected. Trying to grow as a hockey better this season and look for some different bets. Unfortunately my book right now has shit for props which is what I really like, especially the total shots on goals/saves made type. Hoping those filter in some time.

On the season, NY has given up over two goals per 2nd period. All five games for NY so far have seen at least two goals combined in the 2nd period with the majority of that coming from their poor defense. Washington is averaging a little more than a goal per 2nd period, while conceding one per that period. At home, they are averaging closer to two 2nd period goals scored, while still giving up one on defense. Three of their four home games have hit for at least two 2nd period goals. Overall, 4/6 for WASH & 5/5 for NY have achieved tonight's desired result.

The 2nd period has been the best offensively for PHX. The 'Yotes average about 1.3 goals per 2nd period, allowing almost a goal and a half in the same period. All seven of their games have seen at least two goals in the 2nd period. The Ducks sneak in about 1.3 goals per 2nd period, allowing under one goal per 2nd period. In their six games, four have seen at least two goals and Anaheim has scored at least once in every 2nd period they have played.

I missed it on my last play, but I am noticing Adirondack in the AHL seems to be a magnet for OVERs due to poor defense. Seven goals already in their game tonight, five allowed. Definitely the one I will be watching most closely. Love to find a team you can latch on to.Comment -

I am going to follow this trend and see how it works with Adirondack who sports the most giving defense, allowing 21 goals in five games this season. They have yet to give up less than three goals in a game and have given up at least four in four of five. Springfield has scored at least three goals in all four of their games and come in off a five goal performance last night. Springfield has given up at least two goals in 3/5, while Adirondack has tallied three or more in 3/5 and at least two goals in 4/5. Overs may not hit in all of the Phantoms games, but I'm willing to follow a leaky defense and see how it works out for a bit as long as they are playing a team with enough offense to take advantage.

That one was making me nervy. Sharks screwed up that breakaway and then every time one team got a penalty with a chance for some PP action, it got negated in 10-20 seconds with another penalty. Tough not to like most goal stuff related to the Sharks. Flames still under the radar too even though they have dropped off a tad on the goal scoring.Comment -
