i think flames get it done tonight!
this will be the first time in a long time phoenix will be playing a calgary team different from the past. since 2004 phoniex calgary has been defense first always. this time flames have a offense first mentallity which will make the game more open. and danny taylor wants to stay in the nhl.. look for him to have a strong game. this is his chance.

Ouch! It hurts to sit down today!!! I'm done with totals for awhile until I see something that absolutely screams at me. You just never know which team will show up each night.
I'm all over these dogs today:
MtL +135 playing great with a shutout last night
TOR +135 back to back shutouts playing great on the road
SJS +110 looking for a win in Stl where they tend to have let downs
DET +105 looking to get back on track
VAN +110 to be the first team to beat Chi in regulation
So far today I have already put 1U on DET +105 and BUF -140

My personal take on +1.5 PLs is don't bet 'em. One loss will set you back -250/-300 which means you have to get 2 or 3 wins just to get back to even money. If you think a +1.5 PL is the best play consider betting the other side on the ML or layoff the game completely. I think that VAN has a decent shot at taking down CHI straight up, you will not get dog money on the Canucks very often.Comment -

Cheers COTES/HUCK! After banging around the net for starting goalies, stats, opinions etc. I've put in 5 plays so far and am considering a couple more. For 1U each I have:
Buff ML -140 (has moved 5 cents to -145)
DET ML +105 (has moved 10 cents to -105)
SJS ML +105 (dropping was at +110)
TOR ML +140 (was at +135)
VAN ML +105 (opened +110 now sitting at even money)
I am still seriously considering action on Mtl ML +135, they're on a streak and NYR barely beat WASH last game winning 2-1. Mtl has proven they can be strong defensively ever since TOR ripped them for 5 goals last weekend. The only knock on them is B2B games but NY is a big stage that players get up for. I'm hoping NYR action take the line up to +140 as well.
Also considering a play on LAK ML -130. I'm hoping the line will drop on it as Edm seems to be getting a fair amount of play. I don't really trust either team, however, LA did put up a fight against CHI and I have a feeling they will start to regain the team effort that made them champions last season. Edm made a HUGE comeback @ home versus COL but LA is a better team in my opinion. EDM will start the old war horse Kabibulin tonight and LA goes to Quick. I'll take Quick in that matchup.

As much as I hate to bet against my leafs ,I feel Tampa may take this one
as it's very tough for any team to take both games on the florida swing, don't
know if it has to do with the distractions of the golf course or the beach LOL.
Anyways it's a back to back as well.
l also think Nashville will play like they are supposed to with Rinne back in net.
So going with TBay -1 & NAshville under 5 tonight as well as San Jose M/L
