Makes sense. Very good chance Nashvills smothers them tonight. I was gonna bet Nashville ML but knowing SJ they win tonight. Avoiding their games until they figure their shit out and play like they should. I'm just worried their finally gonna bust out when I fade them

never seen anything like the goal for the devils in the devils canes game. I am happy it counted, but they replayed 4 minutes of the game because they missed a good goal to begin with

Since Feb. 1, goal production has dropped heavily in the NHL. Scoring was up through the season's first two weeks, but during the past 11 days, it has been historically low.

“Probably a little bit of everything,” Penguins defenseman Deryk Engelland said.
The Penguins believe there are three reasons for the lack of scoring:
• The mini-training camp didn't allow coaches proper time to implement their systems. After a couple of weeks, though, teams found their defensive footing.
• Players are fatigued. The Penguins, for instance, just played 11 games in 19 days. Without the energy that a regular schedule can provide, teams are playing more conservatively and relying more on low-scoring fourth lines.

Some teams trap like their families lives are on the line every shift like Nashville and Jersey. These teams should be huge under teams for the rest of the year.

Also teams that play in accordance to their "time of the month" are : Pittsburgh, San Jose and Tampa Bay.

They always play to the whistle. I've exactly seen a goal that looked like a post then play continued for about 4 minutes and the other team scored

Then they reviewed it and the first goal counted but not the other teams

I don't fully disagree, but think the Devils have shown some decent scoring ability - 12th overall in the league.

Ottawa, while Spezza is out, should also receive some consideration as well. Anderson is a monster in the net & has some serious stats to prove it.
