#1368Consider yourself lucky you got it at 3.5 and were spared the chalkOriginally posted by TrivialFcuk. You ever have one of those days? I just saw DGs picks 45 seconds before game time.
So I rushed. NEVER RUSH. Guess what. I got EDM, but I also got PIT OVER 3.5 goals for +140, instead of 2.5.
Final score will be 1-0.

#1371incredible, of course I picked the pens today...every other "hot team" won.
Hot teams
-- Red Wings won four of last five home games.
-- Bruins won seven of their last nine games. Buffalo won last two games, 5-4/3-2, after losing seven of previous eight games.
-- Pittsburgh had its five-game win streak snapped in New Jersey Saturday. Devils won last four games, outscoring foes 13-4.
-- Rangers won four of their last five home games.
-- Chicago won its last three games, scoring 14 goals. Predators won four of their last five games.Comment -

#13733-3 -$135 on the day
2013 Overall Record
51-63-3 -$955.50
LIVE BETS: 15-11 +$1177.50
GRAND SALAMI: 1-0 +$200
ML: 5-5 +$115
1ST PERIOD: 17-25 -$264
TWO TEAMERS: 3-7 -$372
TTs: 4-6-1 -$884
TOTALS: 6-9-2 -$928

1-3 -$47.50
24-38-1 -$1226

20-18-2 -$164

4-3 -$18
2-1 +$500
Well looks like I should only be doing live bets and ML's for the foreseeable future

Totals and team totals which are usually my bread and butter have been killing me this year
Anyways I will continue to grind away. If you do choose to tail me (probably not wise) use my records and stats as a guideline and always bet within your means.
For me gambling is mostly a hobby and an income supplement (usually). I can handle the swings and not lose my house with what I'm betting.
It's been a tough year so far in the NHL. Mad props to those who are up so far this year. Check out my boys Hot Wings and gigicash's threads if you want some winners. They've been ripping it up

#1376: DG!
- sooner or later you will get it all back; I wouldn't worry much, in fact because of people like YOU, ME, WINGS and a couple of other good fellas who continue to have a thread on here after such a brutal start nobody should worry! (unless they turn into demons and go all in on a tuesday or saturday lol); at the end of the season we will all be counting coins and be happy, you'll see! cheers

#1382I do believe that the lockout does make it harder to cap NHL games. You look at my Red Wings and we are day to day struggling one day and winning by just 1 the next. My Wings took a big hit during the offseason and it will take time for them to become a better team. I personally am laying off NHL sports betting b/c it is too dang hard to cap games every day. It is the one league where it is easiest for the worst team in the league to beat the best on any given day.
Look at the NHL playoffs. No other league has had the amount of #6, 7, or 8 seeds advancing in the playoffs. NHL is the hardest sport to bet on b/c of all the variables since each game can be decided by just one goal. The O/U alone is near impossible to tell b/c it is the one sport where the best player on the team can have little effect to the outcome. Like if Sidney Crosb*tch has a bad game his Penguins could still play a great game and win. BUT if Kobe, LeBron, or Durant each have a poor performance in their game it is near impossible for their team to have a great game in total. Look at baseball alone too, if Verlander does poorly my Tigs will most likely lose. If Verlander is successful they can still lose b/c the bats aren't swinging.
NHL is sometimes decided by a deflection off a random stick that defines the outcome. Also, you look at the only things in Hockey people usually bet on is the ML and O/U. I rarely see ppl betting on the -1.5, but the problem about the ML is that sometimes the games are set at -170 and nobody really wants to bet $170 just to win $100 and on any given day the Blue Jackets could have a great game and a team like the Blackhawks could have an awful game.Comment -

#1384SJ Over 2.5 (-154)
-Going back to the well (possibly slaugterhouse instead) with the Sharks. They've lost 4 straight and haven't scored much lately. I think they are gonna be an angry group tonight and take it out on Steve Mason. Should be a good spot for the Sharks with a couple days of rest and Columbus having played last night. One time!?Comment -

#1395Well I looked at covers in past history and line has never been set at 5 in Col. For example the Kings Blues games with Bernier in is at 5. I think it will go over but set at 5 for some reason because past 6 games line has been set at 5. Could it just be history of line set?
But ya I am abit nervousComment -
