You can conclude two things from this deal: (1) Chicago's back under the salary cap and is stuck holding onto Nikolai Khabibulin and (2) Montreal's given up the wait for Mats Sundin.

I can't say I blame Montreal for not waiting on Sundin at all Mr.Vic. The season starts in a couple of weeks, and they needed to do something.

Lang will be good for 20 goals -55 pts with Montreal. good but not great acquisition, he will bring some veteran presence on the team. He all ready played with Kovalev in pittsburgh.
