i was watching the end of that game, and sometimes, i get frustrated when shit-stupid public plays get incredibly lucky and hit (South Carolina should've won SU but no way should they have covered), and i then get annoyed by people posting or tweeting shit like "yeah, Cincy was the right play, knew it all along" and "USC -4' [as if that program has any right to those initials] butter winner, refs can't steal that one, Big Ten sucks." i know that i should be a bigger person and not let the joy of others (regardless how blissfully ignorant) bother me, but sometimes my temper gets the better of me. it's one of the reasons that i don't often post much once games start.

that one was really frustrating. first three TDs and Stanford's FG were all pretty fluky (hate the early-game trick plays in bowls). that game should've had 16-20 points scored 1H (witness only 3 scored in 2H). bah. onward and upward.

um, no offense, Smut, but Spurrier would've had no choice but to take the FG had they not gotten pretty fortunate on that long pass. if there had been more time, i agree, coaches like Urban and Spurrier will get the extra score (unlike guys like Fitzgerald) and that's why i prefer to back the prickier coaches, but they scored the TD with 11 seconds left. also, bear in mind that as an Ohio State fan, Michigan is my most hated team in all of sports. i sure don't mind seeing them lose, but even if i had bet either of those games, and had i been on South Carolina -4' or Cincy -9, i'd still be annoyed by people making those sorts of comments.

I just downloaded and watched the movie "This is 40" and a lot of 2nd paragraph you just posted, is kinda what the movie is about, its hilarious and very well done brings up a good point. world is full of idiots I tell you.....I try to not let it get to me either, but they always find a way to do it....

i dont think any of those lose, i suppose it conceivable skins/sea get in a shootout but honestly i like the under 46...i lean under slightly in the min/gb gm but i made the number 44 so not like i think it really low, pack outta give you 27ish i suspect minny scores at least once...already played the over 46 in indy/balt, even if it a ass kicking indy gonna score some points on balt d and i think balt get damn near 30.. think pack cover so although not a fan of teasing thru 0 i think if i had to choose id tease pack before min as there def a chance of a blowout here...

Thanks for the time Banker. My original thought was the 2 team Cinn/GB tease. I can't argue crossing zero but way less significance with home team and 13 pts getting off the 3 and 4. Essentially you are betting that GB doesn't lose by a TD.

Putting some serious work into this in the morning. Right now I have to go convince my wife that I love her and not you guys and the hunt for the $$$ before Tenn/Mem. Lot of work to do fast.

Couple interesting observations/stats

Cinn hasn't won a playoff game since 1990 when Houston was still the Oilers. (Is this really correct).

Cinn D has allowed only 11.5 ppg over the last 8.

The playoffs is the season for the reverse back door. Theory being "when finality sets in" so doesn't desperation and sometimes teams quit. In general it is my belief that it is easier to cover a larger spread in the post season for a myriad of reasons this being one.
