I don't understand why NU is so overvalued here. The most they won a game this year was by 15pts. They win by an average of 8, YTD. Illinois is looking to embarrass them civil war style. I threw NU in a 3-team teaser at -9 b/c I can't resist a team 10-1 ATS. I'll be on pins & needles though.Comment -
ok, i get Bama, 45-7. 1H over 24 -120 and TT over 40 -105 both available to me. think i'm going 1u on each, though the small juice on the TT is tempting for more. Saban's hatred of Auburn is well-known, but i hadn't really focused on the fact that Bama faithful might be carrying resentment from the Cam Newton game, which was a home game. nobody in college football puts his foot on an opponent's throat better than Saban. doesn't hurt that Auburn locker room is fractured with talk about Chizik's job status.Comment -

morning, Rick. i wanted to lay the points with OSU, but honestly, i don't bet them a lot and i generally pass on betting this game. however, in UFM we trust, and he wants this game bad, so i'm obviously big on ML. i think they'll cover (if you like UM here, might as well take ML there too i think). such a weird situation with probation, but basically, Meyer can credibly convince his kids that if they win today, they've done everything they can somehow prove themselves to be the best team in the country. i think it will work for the Pontiff. i don't normally play a lot of WAC games because i don't keep up with those teams much, but my model loves overs on high totals and has this one around 84 with a high ceiling (92 or so). either team can easily give up 40, and it's on national tv, so there may be extra incentive to show out offensively. let's get it.Comment -

yeah, CFB unders can be a real heart-breaker. part of the reason that i try to look for 1H under and TTs. no question, i do not like looking down at my card and seeing a bunch of overs, but the rules are the rules and the OT rules in CFB are such a wildcard for unders.
like UF/FSU, just like the Gators TT better.
i actually lean over in UM/OSU, but think nothing of that. i find my model to be particularly bad with totals in big rivalry games like this (thought it had fkd me with ASU/AZ last night for awhile).

i live in Cleveland. we got our first significant snowfall last night. the Browns are a month into having a competent owner, the Tribe is a decade into having an incompetent one, and i'm not an NBA guy (though Kyrie Irving is sweet). the Buckeyes are essential. everyone will be happier at work Monday. the joy of this unexpected 12-0 season has not been matched since the Tressel national title. granted, this is nothing close to that, but after eating shit following some BCS losses (and deservedly so), this is nearly as good as it gets.
