Well, Florida did have four wins over Top-12 BCS teams. Louisville's schedule, on the other hand, was one of the worst in the nation.

UF's defense is elite. The line was inflated, yes, but it's not like you can make the third-ranked team in the country -6 against a team that wasn't even in the Top-20 and limping into their bowl game.

Again, I bet big against Florida so I pretty much agree with you especially re: where the line was placed -- this was a very one-dimensional team with no offense to speak of -- but if you don't have Florida ranked No. 3 and FSU isn't in the Top-12, where should these teams be ranked? And more importantly, who do you rank ahead of them? Teams are rewarded and ranked based on wins and losses, not style points. In case you haven't noticed by watching other bowl games, there aren't many "good" teams out there period.

Yeah, you're right re: the number. It's not the public driving it closer to 7. However, unless it actually gets to 7, I don't see that big of a deal there.

I'll probably pass because no one really knows how Oregon will play with the distractions re: Kelly. And Pauly's right -- I'm kind of a K-State hater. It's more Klein than anything else. I think K-State's D is pretty solid -- especially their corners. And their turnover margin speaks for itself.

I'd say if K-State hangs around on the scoreboard, they might win SU. But if they get behind early and Klein has to start throwing....as I've said before, he makes Tebow look like Montana.

Definitely a tough call with some of the variables involved. My gut is telling me to stay away from this one other than maybe including K-State in a teaser I'm putting together for the weekend/title game.

Pretty unusual. The ML for this game looks about 50/50 with the public -- maybe slightly favoring the Ducks.
