first off, I've read your stuff before and you have good knowledge regarding Cal and college football...that being said, you are definitely biased towards Cal, but that's ok...understand that I have no loyalty to any team each week other than the ones that I think will cover...I did mention Cal in my write-up, three times...I mentioned that Best was a good player but would be less than a 100%, I mentioned that Longshore appears to be the starter, but is coming off a slipped disk, and also mentioned that Cal has good linebacker play...the two games you mentioned where Arizona has struggled were road games where they were overvalued against quality opposition...we both know that Arizona is a completely different team at home and Cal is a completely different team on the road, especially in Pac 10 play...I'm surprised you've talked yourself into the fact that teams still look past Stanford...they've been so bad for so long and teams within the conference still view them as such...sounds like you are making excuses for Cal's loss vs. Maryland, but what I saw in that game was an unprepared squad...I also saw Michigan State exploit Cal's defense in week one (and I had Cal in that game), and saw a very mediocre performance vs. ASU two weeks ago...other than that they have beaten a bad CSU team (another game I was on Cal) and a terrible Washington St. team...if you are basing your supreme confident on everyone at c#o%v#e^r@s being on Cal, you need to check out some of the other forums around, because there are a lot of people on Cal too...BOL to you tomorrow...

Hey pags your picks are gold and we can't win every weekend but I have to say I think you were on the correct sides. I watched the VTech/BC and the LSU/SCar game and I would say that I think we were on the correct side it was just variance bs that ruined those two games. I didn't watch the Duke game but I like your angle and thought it was again, the correct side. I mean I figure that if I roughly asses the edge at like 60% in a game I've got to think that bs happens and I am going to lose part of the time even with the best of it. Iono that is just my theory I haven't been capping for as long as you so I don't know how experienced people look at it.

pags, you know more then anyone this is a long-term game. as deluxe said earlier in this thread, it was just a bad weekend, variance WILL kick you in the ass sometimes.

Anything can happen, and you're 12-9 in the past three weeks including the past two you apologized for 'disappointing' everyone.

All I can say is your insight is pretty rare here from what i've seen, and you ain't got nothing to apologize for! Hope to post in your 10/25 thread soon, BOL this week!
