I don't think Paterno survives this scandal. If Tressel can get fired for what happened at tOSU, Paterno's in trouble -- I don't care what his "legacy" is (if it hasn't become turning the other cheek to this sick story already).

My more conventional model (which tends to be a better line predictor) spit out Nebraska -1 for this game, while my power rankings (which are better at predicting outcomes) say PSU -3. I think it's very interesting that the sharp books let 5Dimes/BetOnline/etc take this lead here and their original NEB -3 took PSU action to drop the line. Greek/Pinny opened at NEB -2. I think Penn State is the right side here regardless of the scandal, but I want that PSU +3 and I don't know if we'll be seeing that again unless it gets messy there and people start loading up on Nebraska, thinking they're going to be able to steal a win on the road.

I think it's hands-down the weirdest line of the season.

Like everyone else, I think K-State is an obvious play.

I can't, in good conscience, back a Mike Sherman-coached team on the road in the middle of such a horrible stretch. A&M is probably the better overall team, but the coaching comparison is so lopsided it's not even funny.
