I was like you - picking Michigan St - initially. I think that OSU wins this weekend, and then gets a beat down at Nebraska next week. Honestly, I expected the line to go down to 2.5 for Michigan State by game time. I have been 4-0 on their games, so I am due for a loss

Funny you say that...cause I'm 4-0 on their games as well

. So now one of us will cash AND remain undefeated. Should be a good game though. I don't think either one of these teams is capable of blowing one another out. I'm thinking the game ends up in the 24-20ish range.

Nice picks Vin. I am with you on Air Force, Pitt and BYwho. I HOPE you are right about the Buckeyes but I am staying away from that game for now. I just don't know if I see them beating a Michigan State team without Herron and Posey. GL to you tonight.

I will be the first to say that Navy could very well win and cover. That is why this is one of my smaller plays.

I dont believe they will win though, and if they do, I could see it being one of those 1 or 2 point type wins, so I am taking the points.

Three reasons why Air force SHOULD WIN:

1)I think they have better coaching than Navy. The new HC at Navy makes a lot of bad decisions in close games

2) They out yardaged Navy on the ground by quite a bit and I believe they will do so again this year. They also have a much better passing game than navy. If you look at the "beatdown" Air Force took to TCU - they actually out yardaged TCU - turnovers killed them

3) Navy is the darling this week after staying close with South Carolina. I think people love Navy in this game for what they did last week and because they are playing at home. Also because past history implies (other than last year) that Navy wins this game

AS for Why this is not a bigger play for me.....

1) Air Force has a lot of injuries. Will be interesting to see if they can plug in the holes....I believe they can.
2) Air Force has been bad with turnovers this year. It clearly cost them the game against TCU, and very well could cost them in this game (but that is true of any team that turns the ball over.

My take: If Airforce doesnt turn the ball over at critical times, I just feel they are the better team, and the better coached team. I will take my chances that they can fill in the holes on the injury front, and that they will hold on to the ball this week. SMALL PLAY (1 unit)

ok i gotta know...what is up with the miami ohio pick? do you follow them? i looked at first and thought army for sure...but after seeing this and looking again i wonder. i know miami has played a tough schedule, so maybe they are being overlooked just because of 0-4. their d also looks to be pretty good considering who they have played. hmm...thinking about going with you on this one if it keeps moving to 3 or more. just curious what you see...i mean you do realize this is miami ohio and not miami florida right?...lol.

Agree with you on your Miami and Nebraska picks. It is ashame though. I was hoping Ohio State would get a win but I am afraid they are going to get blown out of Lincoln. Good picks buddy.
