I agree 100 percent that anyone can get lucky and your right. I am just giving advice on how I think that these games will play out. If you want to follow my picks you can if you dont thats fine too. I wish everyone good luck and hope we all can make some money...that is what it is all about. In regards to Boise State you did see that I did not end up taking Boise with about an hour till game time. It turned out to be a good move because I am sure as you saw LA tech covered pretty easily. East Carolina (5-2) vs Central Florida (5-2)
I usually do not like to play the totals but I love this one. i have it right now as only a 1X pick but I will definetly be raising the bet if my 3x winner on friday night cashes. Let me throw a couple of numbers at you for this one....Central Florida has thrown up huge numbers the past three games with 42, 35, and 41 points. Thats an average of 39.3 points per game. For the season they are averaging 30 points per game. East Carolina has an absolutely horrible defense ranking 105th in the country. They are giving up an average of 35 points per game. East Carolina is averaging almost 36 points per game and in the last three they have put up 44, 33, and 37. That averages out to 38 points. I know that Central Florida has a very good defense but other than KSU and NC state who have they really gone up against that has a good defense. If you just put the two teams average points per game for the season next to each other they are at 67 points which is almost two touchdowns over the projected total. I love this play and should be at the total of 53 by the start of the fourth quarter. Again I don t normally play the totals but I love this play. Good luck to everyone if you make a play or not.

I am big on taking either side or total not both on same game. Its hard enough to win one bet on a game much less two. If I were to play this game I would lean towards ECU to cover this spread. I live in Charlotte, Nc not to far from ECU (three hours) and there seems to be alot of electricity about this team. ECU is sitting at 5-2 right now with only two loses to North Carolina and Virginia Tech. On the other side UCF is a really good team also sitting at 5-2 . Again the safer bet is the over which I really love. Good luck whichever way you go!

Wow what a great line. I dont know how I missed this one. When will Missouri start to get some respect??? I guess if you beat the number one team in the country by 11 that doesn't do it. I guess if you beat everyone that they put in front of you, that doesn't do it. I guess if you have the 5th best defense in the entire country, that doesn't either. I can see this line being 3.5 to 5, for the simple fact that Nebraska is at home but more than one touchdown, please. What is so disturbing is that just two weeks ago Texas marched in there and abused Nebraska in front of 90k people. I thought that spread (Nebraska -10) was ridiculous and so is this one. He is playing against a defense that its strength is playing against the run. To me the Texas loss looks really bad. Texas went home last weekend to get beat by a really bad Iowa State team. Another thing is if you look at the schedule for Missouri after this one they should be able to run the table. At the beginning of the year there were two games that were circled on there schedule, they are half way home right now and I actually see them winning this game on the road at Nebraska.

I'm not sure Missouri has the athletes to match up with Nebraka. Yes, Nebraska lost to Texas at home. But Texas has better athletes on defense than Missouri. Also, Nebraska lost to Texas because the receivers dropped 8 passes, 3 that were tds.

Missouri was winning last year, at home, in the rain 12-0 after 3 quarters. Nebraska won that game 27-12. Nebraska didn't have much of an offense last year. This year they do.

Nebraka has lost something like 9 of the last 10 to Texas. It's a mental thing. Texas had an extra week to prepare for Nebraska and they came out with the victory.

This is the biggest game of the year for both teams. The winner will play in the Big 12 Championship game. If Missouri cant stop Martinez, Burkhead, and Helu then it could get ugly.

I am not a fan of Missouri's by any means actually up to last week I was on the bandwagon with everyone else, thinking they were overrated. I have to say i dont think that up to now there is anything else that they have to prove. They have beaten everyone and the number 1 team in the country last weekend.
In relation to San Diego State freshman tailback running all over them you put down that he ran for two runs over 168 yards. They actually ran for 263 yards in that game on 33 attempts. If you take those two runs away that means that they ran for 100 yards on 31 attempts, thats 3.2 yards per carry. I will take that effort every weekend.
As for atheletes, I think that there was one or two of them on the Oklahoma team that they played last weekend.
I might be one hundred percent wrong on this one but I will take the points and my chances and see what happens.
It must be a great time to be a husker fan now right now. Martinez is unbelievable, the future looks really good for atleast the next two years. If you guys can get solid on the defensive side of the ball and get any sort of offensive line you guys should be a top 5 team next year.

Florida State (6-1) -4 vs NC State (5-2) I am very excited for this game on Thursday night on ESPN. To look at the teams you would naturally favor Florida State but I do not think that this is a good match up for Florida State at all. The thing that concerns me the most is the performance that FSU just put on display against BC last weekend at home. I have followed and won off of BC's losses all year and I have to tell you they are an awful football team on both sides of the ball which makes me wander what is going on with FSU right now. If you look at the record you would see that FSU has only one loss to Oklahoma on the road when they got dismantled and were never truly in the game from the very beginning. Now I will give them credit going into Miami two weeks ago and really dictating that contest from the very beginning to end is very impressive but Miami is struggling a litlle right now and they are not as strong as we all thought that they were. If FSU thinks they are going to be able to go into NC state and play that kind of game it is going to be a long night for them on Thursday. On the other side of the ball NC state is led by Russell Wilson who is toting the number 7 total passing offense in the country averaging over 312 yards per game. I also like that they are coming off a bye week which has given them plenty of time to prepare for this game. I stayed away from there last game where they were 7 point favorites on the road against a very good ECU team because it had upset written all over it. They did end up losing in overtime. The last time they played a nationally televised game this year, they absolutely destroyed Cincinnati on Thursday night 30-19. this will be a close game, by no means do I think that NC state can run away with this game. The coach from Nc state reported a great week of pratice so far and that his team is focused and ready to play against a very good FSU team. I think the home crowd, Thursday night football, coming off a short week, coming off a bad week, will be too much for FSU to overcome this week and pick NC State to win this game outright by 6 points. I think I put in another reply that I was not sold on Missouri at all until last week. I think that you have to give credit to Missouri for what they did last week. I am not a big believer with the let down factor in this game because they are not playing a bad team this weekend. They are playing an excellent Nebraska team with one of the best quarterbacks in the country in Nebraska. Believe me Missouri realizes how important this game is. This is probably the toughest game of the year for them especially being on the road. If you look at the rest of there schedule they should be able to run the table if they are able to pull this game out. I will tell you that I will not be surprised to see Nebraska win this game but I just feel that over a touchdown is way too many points. Anyway either way it should be a great team and should answer alot of questions about both of these teams. I dont think for one second that Nebraska is going to let happen what happen last game (Texas game) happen again. A couple more things that should make you feel better about the WVU/conn. game tonight. They are going to be starting sophmore Michael Box. He has played in three games this year with a completion record of 17 attemps and 6 completions and 1 interception. He has a total of 65 yards on the year. The one shinning light for Conn. is Jordan Todman who ranks 5th in the country....the only problem is WVU ranks 11th in the country against the run and has the number 4 overall defense in the country. There will be a ton of pressure on this sophmore QB with no experience to speak of. WVU will load up the box and just wait for Todman all night. I am liking this game more and more as the day goes on. Good luck!

There is just too much on the line for Auburn to have a let down in this position. During the beginning of the week I told myself that I would stay away from this one but it's just too easy. This is another line that is very favorable for everyone to make alot of money on. I picked Louisville last week to crush Uconn and we all saw how that game turned out. Probably the easiest pisk of the day other than the Hawaii game. Uconn has lost there starting quarterback for the year, they just got beat 26-0 on the road and now have to come home to what should be a very angry WV team in a big east conference game. Here are a couple of statistics to take a look at...

1. ranked 102nd out of 120 teams in passing offense
2. Had a total of 187 yards vs Louisville ranked 43rd in total defense before there game. WVU is ranked 4th in total defense.
3. Connecticut QB threw the ball 20 times for 10 completions and 1 interception.
4. Connecticut is 3-0 at home.....big win Vanderbilt (2-5)
West Virginias biggest problem is not the players on the field but the coach that is leading them. He always lets teams hang around and seem like he can never finish teams off when he has the chance to. Luckily for him the Atheletes on the field will dictate the outcome of this game.Is Connnecticut that bad?? Yes they are! This will be another long day for the offense for Uconn. I really like this game and it should be in hand for WV by the middle of the 2nd quarter. I have lost and won on Uconn three times this year and this is not a good football team. I am actually very thankful that this game is on Friday night it gives all of us a great oppurtunity to play with ALOT of free money going in to Saturday.

I have actually talked to a couple of guys that are some pretty big time players...for Charlotte, NC .......and they are actually on Conn. too. I just don't see it happening tonight. God knows I have been wrong in the past but like I said the only thing that can win this game for Uconn will be the WVU coaching staff. Well......really dont know what to say about that game last night. I guess you cant win them all. Truly believe it was the right play but you cant fator in turnovers and that was truly the difference. I was watching the overtime with my girlfriend and actually thought we had a chance to still get the cover and was just telling myself the entire time DONT FUMBLE! I got a weird feeling when they got stopped on the 2 yard line. Horrible things usually happen down there. Unfortunately for me it was a bigger play and lost some money but what can you do. I would have played the game the exact same way if I could do it all again. Alot of good plays today hope to turn it around with a quick win with K state getting points at home. Week 9 5-6 -3X -900 dollars 26-10 over the past three weeks
Well, It was one of those weeks for me. I was looking at my picks this morning and thank god I made my ECU/CFU over a 3X Pick or it would have been a really ugly weekend. Its funny though I went over my picks and looked at them and I really dont know how I might have bet them any diffrently. I mean Utah doesn't score one point in the fourth quarter and gives up 13 points to Air force to lose. The funny thing in that game is both touchdowns were passing plays which Air force is strictly a running team. I will give any action on Utah getting shut out in the fourth quarter of any game. The WVU game was another game that I just scratch my head. They turn the ball over four times and through all of that they get the ball first in overtime and fumble on the one yard line to lose. The Kansas State and Nebraska were two bad picks and I admit that as I go back and look at the games. Well thats the way it goes sometimes.
