They play a couple tough games a yr; it is easy when you do not face a weekly grind.
The goddam TV announcers talk about Boise during OTHER NCAA games now like Boise is oppressed, they even expressed sorrow that VT lost and that hurts poor-poor-little-ole Boise's computer ratings... like Boise deserves special considerations, almost affirmative action type stuff. Boise keeps the casual fans of the sport interested. Guys that either played the game and/or know what they are doing recognize Boise would win 4-5 games in the SEC and other top conferences but it keeps the bottom tier of fans interested. They get knocked for playing in the WAC, yet they are now 4-0 in their last four games vs. BCS conferences and 2-0 last two games vs. TCU, which is just as good as a BCS school.

Even more impressive was the WAY they beat Va Tech, as showing great composure with the game on the line the way they did was probably more impressive than if the Broncos blew the Hokies out, as it proves that Boise won't wilt in a tight game.

Looks like it will be Boise State vs. the SEC Champ (Alabama again?) for all the marbles, and that may also help settle the "what if Boise played in the SEC" argument.
