Could be but taking points seems "safer". Last home game for Beamer and Va Tech playing to become bowl eligible.

If that is the case, why play the game at all? There certainly should be some plays better than having to make a play based on what wager would be "safer".

Let me rephrase, ML and ATS both have value but ATS appears to have better edge based on my model.

I like Miami getting points at home. Ga. Tech is finished for the season, as far as bowl consideration is concerned. The only thing they have to look forward to is the war against UGA next week in Atlanta. This game is meaningless for them. Miami is going bowling and can possibly get a warm weather bowl if they win out.
