Did anyone see the stupid move Stoops made today?

There are 55 seconds left and OSU had no timeouts.

OU punts and downs the ball at the 15 yard line but OSU ran into the kicker.

Stoops accepted the penalty and punted it to OSU's best player against who took it 90 yards with only 40 seconds left on the game and no timeouts.

That was an all-time dumb move.

Instead of making OSU go 85 yards with no timeouts in 50 seconds you punt it again to give them another crack at a return.

Then you don't even punt it out of bounds.

When asked, Soops threw the players under the bus by saying "I thought we could cover 35 yards".

Hey dipshit, if you don't re-punt you don't have to cover 35 yards and the game is essentially over.

Always amazes me that when a team is up and ready for the kill (Marshall 24-10 with the ball late in the first half), they suddenly go ultra-conservative -- only to then turn over and play prevent defense and let the other team march right down the field after they punt.
