I stuck with my aggs but after the first half play and reading all the posts I tried to hedge my bet at half and lost 2x. The initial lean seems to come through more often than not

crazy....ok, lets see what lynch could do vs this defense. i went with it because i was more unimpressed with usu's loss to fresno. great defenses typically have a crack vs a dual threat QB, so that was my mindset with this play. hate the 2000 mile trip but usu also travels around 800 miles. no way imo a mac team has a letdown.....these schools should be happy in any bowl.

added under for a unit to above post...seems like the sharp call with roughly 60 on the over

almost forgot....i actually tried to break the jinx with a mini writeup.

yeah, being home today i read into the game too much. not a huge play, but a mistake i wont make again. i was taking usu for 2x for the last 2 weeks.

Utah State was a classic lesson in variance and gambling last night. They were clearly inferior, particularly at QB, although their D was solid. How does a Heisman candidate play that poorly? Also, when was the last time in college you intercept at the other team's 15, down 6 and essentially go 3 and out? Unreal. I don't think I've truly ever seen that.

Were you watching the same game I was? NIU feasted on inferior competition all year long. "Heisman candidate" my ass. It's easy to look great against the Ohios and Akrons of the world. USU wasn't much of a step up overall, but they were significantly better defensively than anything Lynch has seen other than Iowa and BGSU -- two teams that quieted him as well. The kid was a decent QB, but I didn't buy the hype for one second of him being a Heisman candidate.

I've watched both USU and NIU a lot this year. USU's QB is shit. Agree. But their D is legit and proved that last night against the most overrated team/player in the country. Not sure how you could argue NIU was the right side or the "superior team" in this one, but to each his own.

been tracking all plays closely for 3 years now. regular season ive been good the last 3 years (broke even this year)......winning overall season in 11/12....blew my profits and then some last bowl season. but i now auto'd my bowls which hopefully does the trick. thats my game, and last bowl season i over analyzed games...
