But I guess, if you were a nonpro it would be for bragging rights only, right? I mean what's the point? Can't really do anything with the points anyway.

you are 100% correct though, on a micro level, its only about bragging rights. on macro level, we should be fighting for equal rights.

lol didnt realize this (donate to charity) was an option. looks like they removed the 2K amazon purchase and fantasy sports subscription options.

I like both types of contests. A multi event one that has a set limit you can bet and then the one event pick every fight type. No reason we couldn't do both.

I don't have any sbr points to use - Dirty X and I got banned for logging into our accounts from dirty's house when watchign ufc on fox 4 and I talked to Rod the mod about getting our accounts reactivated, but he said he had to take all our points and would not let us earn any new ones once he reactivated them (we were banned because they suspected us of point fraud / creating multiple accoutns from same household)...

So I would be much appreciative if we create a contest where we don't have to wager actual sbr points but rather just use make believe points / money like I was saying in my recommendation and what Vaughn did in his game that I referred to. Gracias.

well you could do what bigday suggested, just participate in the contest for bragging rights, but you wont risk or win any points.

That's what I'm leaning...

Sbr Pros can use their Pts in a Pts contest yet we can allow everyone to participate. If the 1st an 2nd place finishers are non pro, than the first Pro basically wins the Points. Make sense?

And of course we can place the top 2-3 pros so to speak. Depending on how many register.

bc non-pros can only transfer 2pts/day. so if they do a contest for 200pts it would take us 100 days to pay the entry fee.

I liked the contests that Vaughany ran in which we all had $1000 to wager on a single event, wagering at least $200 on 3 different fighters..100 point buyin paying the top 3 sounds good, maybe more if 20+ join..

How many events was that contest? How many are preferred? 3-5 events?

5 is a good number I think. Could do 151, 152, Nottingham Fuel event, FX Browne vs Bigfoot, then 153...5 events within 6 weeks

It's too bad that a site like Yahoo or something hasn't set up some kind of fantasy mma or something. Would make grading much easier other than self grading.
