I think only way he loses, is if he gets KO'd, but I don't think he will. Oli Thompson is no Stipe Miocic. He's powerful, but slow. De Fries will see the punches coming and avoid them. I see De Fries pressuring Thompson against the cage in the second round, forcing him to the mat, and locking a submission in, most likely a rear naked choke.

He is just brilliant on the ground. I think the fight will hit the ground, and he will find a way to lock something up. Lucky to have him drop this low. Great price to get him at. Either he will lock up an early sub, or one in the third. I think he will find a way. If it makes it to the judges scorecards, I think he will take a 28-29, 29-28, 29-28 split-decision. Gomez will be the toughest opponent Moraga has ever faced. All of his opponents have been cans.


Nam Phan +115

Miller looked terrible at 145 vs Siler, and I'll be happy to remind everybody that I was alone in taking Siler over Miller on here... He looked terrible at the weigh-ins today, which makes me like this play even more. I believe Phan will be able to outstrike him for three rounds, possibly get a late TKO finish, if Miller gasses. But more than likely, I see this as a unanimous decision win for Nam Phan.

I just don't see him getting out-grappled for 2 out of 3 rounds. I expect him to outstrike en route to a 30-27, if not score a KO. I'm thinking he gets the KO.


Brandon Vera +330

The value is def with Vera in this spot. He is more motivated than he has ever been. If Hendo was able to dominate Shogun for a good two rounds, then Vera should put up a good fight. Worst case scenario, I see it being a close fight he loses. I would not be surprised to see Vera shock the world by knockin Shogun out.


Rani Yahya +150

Small play for value. Yahya ITD would be good value.

I'm hoping this ends up looking like Phan's fight with Cody Mckenzie. I don't think Miller's frail looking ribs can withstand too many of those left hooks to the body.
