Perfect result for UFC. Diaz didnt want to fight Edgar because of the Gracie connection so they'd of been a quandary had Edgar won. Now they have a great fight in Henderson vs Diaz and can finally encourage Edgar to move down by giving him a title shot straight away in December or January against Aldo (should he beat Koch).

Edgar moving down probably factored in huge. They will definitely fast track him to a fight with aldo, maybe give him a tune up fight if he needs it. They have nobody for Aldo now. Koch? Are they serious? Before him they made focking kenny move down weight, lol.

Diaz vs Edgar would be shit as well, would be funny just to see that.

My thoughts exactly, I had almost $1000 in parlays riding on Frankie. I hedged a little with Bendo at +130 between the 4th and 5th and I had the opportunity to hedge with Henderson +400 after the fight but didn't take it because I was VERY confident Frankie won.

I should have known better though knowing what the judges are like, right now im pissed more at myself than anything right now for trusting them on this and not taking that +400 line.

Personally had the fight 3 rnds Edgar 2 rnds Hendo. Edgar won rnds 2,4,5 imo. Should be a trilogy hendo deserved the first fight and frankie should have won this fight. I would have been sick of seeing another rematch but not to be. At least frankie should get a featherweight title shot after maybe one match now.

yeah his fight IQ wasnt great after he got dropped. One takedown attempt in whole fight, stopped going for the leg kicks, and ignored his corner's advice to get Frankie against the cage

Dana was hesitant in even giving it to him. he didn't deserve the re match and he didnt deserve this match plain and simple. i had no money on the fight. i could care less if you think i did. yes, frankie beat me up lol. actually frankie trains 20 minutes from me and like i said before Almeidas gym is 10 minutes from me, so i have followed him closely. if someone ran around the ring and landed slaps in the face would you score them points? some of you guys have never been in a fight in your life and if one ever came your way you'd be running 50 feet the other way and you try to judge these fights is hilarious

i didn't say he won big. in the earlier rounds yeah i thought he was up big. i already said if he fights the way he fought tonight against Diaz, he'll get destroyed. you dont have a clue about fighting. when your fighting the champion and trying to take his belt, i'll say it one last time, you have to do a hell of alot more than what frankie did. frankly neither fighter looked like they wanted it bad enough to be honest, if they called it a draw, i wouldnt have been shocked.. in that case Henderson gets the win, hes the champion rightfully, the challenger doesn't get that nod.
