#2130Congrats to Orlando Salido (recipient of a "decision"), to Hougigo who noticed some value in his corner and posted it here...and to all of us "on the ball" enough to tail (I bit apparently on Feb20th at +475)...
hope you didn't REALLY abandon your position based on that weigh-in look...
As for the near future...
*Angulo +740 (bought on Feb 12th) fighting on the 8th, and
*Malik Scott +350 (bought on Feb 20th) fighting on the 15th.

hope you didn't REALLY abandon your position based on that weigh-in look...turns out that it was "lean, mean, and hungry"...not weak and listless

#2134OMG>>>>>>>
I pulled off of Salido because I thought he was gonna kill himself to lose weight.... I didn't read past that and turns out he just stayed at 128.5 and went up to WW to fight Loma.
Ughhhhh.... I had that +500 in my sights too....FML!
But back to the point.... looks like what I thought about this being too much too soon for Loma. Had no answer to the pressure of Salido and best he could do is hold. That's why yous start off with lesser fighters with kind of the same style so you have somewhat of an idea to do and get experienceComment -

I thought he tried to lose the 2.5 pounds after the weigh in further killing himself.
Dude didn't and came in at 147. Loma really had no answer to non stop Salido and honestly... if he was given more time to season, he could've won....best he could do is hold.
As for Angulo....I like him because of his value.... I see it as a close fight. yea, Ron_Paul is right in Angulo being a plodder.... but my position on Canelo is that those devastating combos he always rips are when he has his feet set and he has his opponent right where he wants them. Canelo kind of flat footed and Angulo will keep moving forward, forcing Canelo to constantly move, not allowing him to throw those. I mean...look at the Gomez fight. Gomez kept pushing forward and best Canelo could do is throw those single shot counters against a WW in a fight I thought was stopped a little too soon. For the value he was at the time of me saying that.... it's worth it. Canelo might win, but Angulo stands a hell of a chance of winning, way better than what he's given.
As for Scott.... dude is the best boxer Wilder will have faced to date. People question his chin with the Chisora fight.....but I see Scott being a lot more conscious in this fight. Scott is a big guy and I expect him to be pumping the jab out a lot. Wilder's chin still has a huge question mark on it and Scott, while not a huge puncher, can at least get himself in a position to hurt Wilder. +325 looks worth it to me because it's totally possibleComment
