        Well, kind of like Rios/Murray

Except Rios was already given that size advantage and he got Murray to fight the way he wanted

Mike didn't start well, moved into a grove later moving, but then got pulled in again.... can't keep this up.

Mike moving a lot, provo chasing a lot.
Launches jabs and then goes inside to try and neutralize his inside

Hopefully you played the hedge Houg cause it held. Got hairy those last few rounds. Alvarado just kept hanging in and hanging in. Thought he might squeek by til the end. Thank goodness Mike's corner has brains and knew he was kaput.

I got home from work tonight and popped on hbo to see if the fight had started and they were doing the announcements. It sure looked from the get go something was off with Alvarado. Can't say for certain if cardio was the a factor on Mike's side but those body shots from Provo made it an issue.

He was moving better round 2 and up, but Provo got to him

Ugh.... literally right after I finished Mosley/Cano... i'm reading that the fight is off.
Mosley has just flown out of the country.
Evidently, there wasn't much interest in the fight (1.5k sold while claiming more than 6k sold) and both men were being paid more than they had to give (Mosley 700k to Mundine's 1mil)

Not good. Was actually thinking of pulling a late nighter to watch this. Had a slight lean on Mosley going in. Oh well

Didn't know how much their purses were before today, seeing it now though... there was no way they'd be making money to pay each man from the event

I think 700k is the same amount Mosley got for the Canelo fight. These peeps down under are nuts.

Yea, was reading they had to sell the fight PPV to even hope to make up costs...1.7 million to both the fighters? Seeing that now is so unrealistic.
                                        W/E
Looking forward to Saturday.... I got Kid Chocolate NITD.
He has power, but I think he takes Chocolate the distance

Murat ain't nothing special, Hopkins should outbox him to a boring decision..... nothing interests me to touch the fight.

                                                    Quillin vs Rosado

Out of thee televised fights in tomorrow's Showtime card, this is without a doubt the best fight on there. Honestly, Quillin does have power, nobody can dispute that. he knocked down N'dam 6 times and knocked down Guerrero 4 times before knocking him out, the same Guerrero that outboxed Rosado to a decision.
Now, most people will probably take Quillin since he's on a roll and Rosado recorded a loss against another big MW puncher, Golovkin. I don't blame them, but I'm leaning on this fight going the distance. Rosado is a fighter who gets better the more fights he takes, he's a guy who came up the hard way (less than 20 amateur fights i think) and learns from every fight. He also took Golovkin's punches pretty well with the fight being stopped on cuts as opposed to being knocked silly.
I envision both fighters taking the first few rounds to feel each other out, especially Rosado. As the middle rounds approaches, both men will open up more, but if Rosado feels the need to be more defensive, he'll move around more and pump the jab to try and keep Peter away. With both fighters trying to finish strong as the final bell nears.
I could be wrong here, Quillin has power that could catch Rosado and knock him down. Like in the Angulo fight, he might not be able to recover in time and get knocked out in the process. Me personally though, I'm leaning on Rosado trying to fight cautiously, yet smart to try and win his first title. He said that he's finally filled out into a MW frame and hopefully he'll give it his all instead of complaining afterwards. We'll see how well he does tomorrow when he fights Chocolate.

                                                    Fight goes the distance +120

UGh, I wanted to take the Abraham fight over, but didn't know too much about his opponent.
His opponent is moving around a lot and barely throwing, Abraham is tired and this fight is most likely going 12.

Need B Hop &/or Wilder to win in order to complete half a dozen parlays with Parke, Manuwa, Lineker, Hettes & Sarnavskiy. Got great prices on both Wilder & B Hop. You're fine on Wilder/Hopkins, both in with overmatched opponents. Only one of the two who stands a chance of losing is Hopkins and that's if he gets old in the ring and Murat is busier than him. Hopkins doesn't like busier fighters
