Never hurts to hedge a little risk in my opinion, though i get your point. When I made the bet I wasn't as confident in Makovsky as I am now.

Interesting tidbit I read today about the Straus-Corey fight, just passing on the info. "A wildcard, unfortunately, may be the death of Straus' teammate Chris Smith, who passed away from a car accidnt just last week. Straus should win this fight if his head is in the right place, but he could definitely be distracted."

Not only does Makovsky have great takedowns, but his BJJ from top position is excellent. He has good guard passes and a strong submission game. Danta is slick off his back but I think Makovskys comination of excellent takedowns and top control will earn him the nod.

Vila doesn't seem to try to keep people down, he scores the takedowns and backs out. Makovsky has a very sticky top game, maintains control, passes frequently and looks for opportunities.

Keep reading articles about his fight tonight, and a lot people are saying the age factor, and Vila's cardio being an issue, making me hesitate on pulling the trigger here. And I caught this mistake on my book Playing this just on principle - nog averaging +145 on best fight odds and here he is +375 on my book lol... I've read from you guys that books will punish you for not telling them about a huge mess up, but my book is pretty small and local, and considering its only a 50 play I don't think they'll care nor notice - its still live in my pending plays!
