But I don't think it's speculation that Rumble could easily beat Vitor. That fight proved that he could. If he didn't gas, that would be an easy win for him. That was clear to everybody watching the fight. Rumble missing weight then gassing was all a gift to Vitor. Otherwise, he didn't stand a chance.

Zuffa owns Strikeforce, I doubt they cut Rumble from UFC because of his attitude and weight-cutting issues then just move him to their feeder promotion...would be a bit hypocritical. Semtex got cut and went to Strikeforce before ZUFFA owned them. Jardine didnt get cut because of his attitude/lack of professionalism or weight-cutting issues - far from it, he was the perfect company man. Problem was he'd lost 5 out of his last 6 fights!
