#179Yeah, I agree. I had no problem taking the huge juice with Pearson against Assuncao, Barboza against Pearson, El Cucuy against Riley and Edwards, especially Dunham against Bailey, Koscheck against Hughes, and last couple Jones/Silva fights.Comment -

#180To change the subject!..... I wonder what impact if any Guillard's permanent change to Blackzillians will have? As I understand it Jackson will no longer be in his corner. This is just another variable (all be it possibly minor) to throw in to the equation. Will this mean that Guillard won't go back to having an elusive game-plan like he did against Stephens which surely was instructed by Jackson? From what I've seen the Blackzillians don't seem to like being defensive and prefer to "show off their abilities". And although their is a lot of hype coming out of this camp, it's not like they've been setting the MMA world alight. Aside from Evans finishing Tito, and Rumble beating Brenneman comfortably, the likes of Guillard, Menace Johnson, Patrick, Jorge Santiago, and Rumble have all lost their recent fights.Comment -

#181Don't think its a good move for him...but he's black and cocky. He can't help but be attracted to other blacks with inflated egos and distorted reality.
It's likely that I am completely off, but I imagine that camp as a bunch of black guys constantly telling each other how good they are and no real leadership or intelligence except van arsdale who wishes he could still be a quality fighter instead of on the sidelines.
there is def some truth in this I think.... (not to be racist, either, but its sounds like a possible reality - especially the van arsdale part LOL...)Comment -

#183Did anyone else catch Melvin Guillard on the sherdog radio network rewind? http://www.sherdog.com/radio/Rewind-...-Guillard-2217
He discusses what went down when he was caught in hurricane Katrina. It is very interesting stuff. After listening I have a new found respect for the guy. He truly is a hero.Comment -

#188lol teeb and i ran into him at mgm while waiting for ari who was in the restroom. he was walking kinda fast with a friend and he bumped into me. i noticed it's him and was like "oh shit. hey man. great fight." or something of that nature and he completely ignored me and kept walking on lol
i saw him again a couple hours later while taking a cab to my room. he and his buddy were crossing the street right in front of my cab. still totally wasted. wasted walking zombies. lolComment -

#190You know I'm dumb 'cos when I saw him, I said to myself that it'd be a smart idea to bet against him next time. He didn't look in that good of shape... and when his fight with Munoz was announced, I felt Munoz would win it very easily... but I ended up betting on Leben 'cos he was a dog and I was rooting for him. lol I had pretty much set myself up with a lock but bet opposite it.Comment -

#191Sometimes I just can't bet on guys I know are gonna win... I really felt Overeem would win, and was looking for every reason to bet on Brock, but just couldn't bring myself to put a dollar on him. Knew Overeem would win. So I just took fight ends under 1.5 rounds instead.Comment -

#193I'd of taken Schafer at Evens or better. He'll have slight size and grappling advantage, and the Simpson fight showed that he's also got a decent chin and is resilient. Rivera on the other hand just has better striking but has minimal footwork and head-movement so isnt going to exactly pick-apart Schafer. He's clearly close to retirement as well - and if he loses this he may well retire.Comment -

#198I'm on Schafer. I have no doubts that he can take Rivera down. I think Schafer can wear him down rather quickly and possibly get a late stoppage by submission. Rivera has never had any TDD and has shown some extremely poor cardio in his last few fights.Comment -

Just a small action play, as I'm not super keen on this event.
Will probably be making solo plays on Miller and Schafer possibly, and maybe Nuromegedovhisnuts...Comment -

#206I'm ready to lay some on Morecraft after readign this...
"I think it would be a dumb decision for me to stand in front of Pat Barry and let him kick me in the leg," said Morecraft, who fights for the first time since an admittedly tough knockout loss to Matt Mitrione. "It's obvious to stay away from that and execute my game plan. If I fight his fight and stand in front of him, of course he's going to kick the [expletive] out of my leg and pound my leg. The game plan is put him in the Lex Luger torture rack, throw him over the top rope like it's Wrestlemania X."
