I made that pic. I found it funny how he said 73% was his own calculation which is rediculous but even if you were going to put a number on it why wouldn't you just round it off to 70%. Saying 73% makes it sound like he wanted to portray that there was solid math behind it.

Gabe, if you are living off that money what happens when you have a bad week and don't have the money to pay? Even the best handicappers have big losing weeks every now and then. If you have been collecting money off of him every week like you say he is not going to be too happy if you can't pay him when you eventually have a losing week.

I have losing weeks every now and then and I pay up. I've only ever lost really big once, and I needed an extra week to pay it all off. I've cut my cap down since. Was at 10k, brought it down to 5. (I started off with a $500 cap, kept winning and raising my cap, took it up to 10k and let it stay there for a while til I lost, now I'm settled at 5k) Given that big loss and all other losing weeks, I'm up really big for the year. Enough so to have supported myself and helped my family without a steady income from anywhere else.

I went with 73% because I felt 70% was too low and 75% was too high. No math, like I said back then, the percentage only stated my confidence in the play. I don't know why you would assume I wanted you to believe I was crunching numbers on a calculator. Anyway, I hope I cleared that up for ya.

Anybody who "crunches" numbers to determine their confidence in a play is a phony. Only you can know how certain you are of something, there are no numbers to crunch.

You only crunch numbers when you're taking statistics into consideration.

It's like saying "I'm 85% sure I'm getting laid tonight." - there are no numbers to crunch, it just reflects how confident you are that you will get laid.

I've seen your work (re: crunching numbers) and I'd hate to say it but you're good.

It's fair to say that my picks since I've been here have been good. I've also provided proof that I do well in NFL, too... so don't use the word "claim."

Doesn't matter how my bank management is, though, I wouldn't be making THAT much more money. There are limits to what I can bet. It's not like Vegas where I can just bet anything I want.

Some UFC cards, it would be impossible to make more, because I max the bets on the fighters I'm certain will win.

Some NFL games, it's impossible to make more. For example, the Monday before last, I maxed both the Chargers -3 spread and -127 ML against the Jaguars on the road on Monday Night Football. That was my biggest lock of the week, and it would have been impossible to make more.
