that type of fighting allows overeem to focus on only punching and kneeing his opponent. It is a totally different overeem when you watch the tape of him fighting werdum. Take downs change the fight entirely, and that's all brock is going to try to do. Defending and attempting take downs expends a lot of energy, and being tired effects your ability to throw a punch. also notice that fight only lasted 18 seconds
"that type of fighting"? you mean MMA? because i posted an mma fight, one where overeem gets taken down immediately lmfao.
(old post, i know)

Ubereem actually has decent TDD, but I'm just not so sure how well it's going to work against a monster wrestler like Brock. I keep having visions of Carwin/Brock in my head... but that fight was one-sided in the 1st b/c Brock couldn't get him down and was constantly pressured. He got clipped a few times, but managed to keep his composure. However, I still think Brock was allowed to continue longer than he should have there and it could have easily been called a TKO for Carwin. Ubereem brings a much better skillset into the Octagon and if he gives it his all a la Carwin (in the 1st) and doesn't let Brock get comfortable, I think this is his fight to lose. Early money still coming in on Allistair though and Brock is at +110.

Lesnar/Overeem is going on at UFC 141 December 30th.
Not sure what the main event is going to be at 140 in Toronto, or UFC 139 in San Jose. Those 2 cards now between UFC on Fox and UFC 141 could spell for a Franklin/Ortiz main event

If this is the main event i don't see them selling 20K seats in the Air Canada Center
