Do you not think Brenneman's line will improve? I cant knock a play on him but also cant help but think his line is going to be closer to +175 to +200 range by fight night. Also think Brenneman by dec at +225 or better will be better value

It could very well end up at around +175 or higher... but I just expected him to open at around +125 so I made the play. If he winds up at +200 I'll be putting more on him near fight night - and yeah I'm keeping an eye out on the DEC line as well. Rumble could very well come in looking sharp and beat him up, but I can't quite grasp where this guy stands in the WW division... the ferocity doesn't always show up.

I have a good feeling 2-3 dogs win on VS 6.

True V. In time, hopefully this will change. I am hoping for an NBA lockout. This would be great for us MMA diehards. The books would be forced to offer more lines and options.

I use a local book that used to think I was the biggest pain in the ass. I would call them weekly asking for Bellator and Strikeforce lines. They would always respond "What fight? Who? Is it UFC?".

In two years time, this has completely changed. They carry every big MMA card now. Most solid books list undercards. Hopefully in time, props will become more widely available as well.

Of course, it's a double-edged sword. As the sport grows in popularity, the lines get sharper and the value disappears !

My personal opinion. Screw the overpaid crybabies in the NBA. More fights please.

Regarding Struve and Barry, each has a clear path to victory. But who is going to "Victor Ortiz" and implode via stupidity first?

It's fun to try and predict a winner in this circus act, but to wager real money on a winner? I have to question the sanity of someone who would go big on either side of this one.

I look at the Struve/Barry fight as more of a coinflip... that's the only reason I went w/ Struve at +170.
Struve isn't the smartest fighter... but neither is Barry along w/ his friend complex. It also seems that people are blowing Stefan's glass jaw out of proportion - the guy has been dropped by big shots that would have crumbled anyone. I see a RNC coming Barry's way.

They had bets for the fights going the distance/not going the distance, but they added bets such as "Johnson winning by decision" and Struve inside the distance today.

I'm probably making a bigger bet on Cruz to win by decision along with a small Johnson hedge (if I am using that term correctly) haha

I'm going against most of you and playing Struve at +170 and Brenneman at +155. Just need one of these guys to win to come out on top.

Obviously, I'm a Barry fan and I also think AJ has a clear path to beat Brenneman with his wrestling background and superior standup. My bets here are purely on value and inconsistency of their opponents. Struve has much better submissions than Tim Hague and while he may get dropped once or twice... I still think Barry is in trouble on the ground against a guy of his size. Really love a play on Struve SOTN!

I know Rumble has looked good lately, but Brenneman has only lost to Hendricks in the UFC who we know is legit. If he can avoid the power/TKO, I think he can get a takedown or two and stay busy enough to win on the cards. Cutting is always in question with AJ and it usually catches up w/ him in the 3rd.
