Jones is the favorite? I don't know about that. I may have to make a little side bet on Shogun.

I got a little on Wineland, I see him as a better version of Mike Brown, though smaller...I see him clipping Faber and jumping all over him. I read that he was "training like it's 1999" so I'm not too confident but +355 is crazy considering EW's power.

Pyle looked like the veteran XCouture hand who caught an intuitive young guy in a disparity of fundamentals. Almeida's a fundamentally sound guy who got caught by a flash of ingenuity by Matt Hughes. I wouldn't transfer too much of John Hathaway to Ricardo Almeida. Pyle's not a surging talent, he was a guy in the right place at the right time. Half of the things he tried against Hathaway will get him punished severely in this fight. If anything, the win inflated this line to an attractive level for Almeida. Don't take the amnesia bait.

well there have been 6 LHW champions since Chuck Liddell, and the previous 5 have not been able to defend the title more than one time. But this time it looks like Jones might be the guy
