maynard's wrestling is the real deal, he is 11th all time in MSU wrestling in terms of wins and pins, i just dont see frankie taking him down at will. and the hit and run wont work against grey, hes gonna bully him, cut him off, and work against him on the cage. competitive fight, but i think grey wins hands down

Edgar is better all around and Maynard's biggest strength is the size difference. Edgar was significantly better than Maynard on the feet in their first fight. Also Edgar's style will make it very difficult for Maynard to setup takedowns. I don't see any free takedowns for Maynard this fight. He will have to earn every single one of them and struggle getting them. It's hard to setup up takedowns with strikes when every time you go to strike, your opponent backs out. Edgar goes in and out quickly not giving away opportunities. Take a look at the BJ fight, every time BJ decided to start the exchanges Edgar would just move out. When Edgar starts the exchanges he also moves out. It becomes fairly difficult to wrestle a guy down when he doesn't intend on finishing you on the feet and is constantly moving away from you. If Maynard can't just shoot in whenever he feels like it and take Edgar down, he will have a very difficult time. If Edgar continues using his fighting style, Maynard's striking will only be setting up takedowns for Edgar.

Yes I forgot this one. I still like Stann as well as the others I mentioned earlier. Not feeling the Mccorkle play however. Let's not jump on the big sexy(lmao) bandwagon just yet because he beat mark hunt.

However, I dont recall seeing many body shots or at least any body shots that seemed to cause any damage?

It wasn't so much what he was doing but what he wasn't doing, which is what everyone else does, which is flail at Frankie's head for round after round. A lot of the openings Grey had he took downstairs. Between that and the grind, Frankie got really shaken and stopped moving his head. Left him open for more shots that set up more takedowns which Grey is really cognizant of.

I agree, Struve has never beat any top fighter. Every time they give Struve a challenge he doesn't just lose, he gets dominated.

Hughes is now at +151 on Pinnacle as I thought.

As much as I hate Hughes, I love him as the dog in this fight. I'm on the fence about Okami, I am going to have to go back and take a look at his last few fights again.

Hughes and Simpson. I went pretty large on these, 3 units each. Call me crazy, but I see at least one of them to win a decision. Simpson will look to control the fight with wrestling and Hughes has had some outstanding game plans as of late.
                            Best of luck to everyone!!!

Id be very surprised if one of them doesnt win! Although I'm expecting Simpson to rely on his superior footwork and speed to win the fight standing rather than through wrestling. It's true that Munoz hasnt showed his wrestling credentials in the octagon yet in an offensive manner, however nonetheless I'm pretty sure he'll have solid TD defense, and he'll be the slightly bigger fighter.
