I'd take Poirier as underdog for sure...he went from +145 to Evens on Sportsbook. Might add him to one of my parlays that I plan to do if his odds are Evens or better on paddypower.
appreciated...

Micklewright looked like garbage in his last fight with Palaszewski. I don't know anything about Poirier, but I was just considering a fade of Micklewright.

just watched a few from each...micklewright`s stand-up is tighter and more polished...he`s not a great grappler, but he has nasty elbows if he`s on top... but he ends up on the bottom a good bit...
poirier has better kicks...and has a few fairly slick submissions if you`re careless...
both lefties...look like mirror images....not surprised the line is so tight...
micklewright certainly didn`t look like a 6` tall 155 pounder...poirier looks to have fought guys with better records...
should be an interesting little scrap...

I was confused about mickelwright and poirier also. I watched poirier and his wrestling is definitely worse then Micklewright. I think Mickelwright with his militich background (all those guys train for is the sprawl and brawl) is the play imo.

Thinking about a Team Alpha Male parlay, but Mendes worries me a little. His wrestling can't be denied, but it's damn close to being the only thing he's got.

good start guys....
and btw...nice to see that kim winslow hasn`t mellowed one iota....
Round 1 - Referee Kim Winslow in the cage. Poirier charges forward with a flurry of punches. Most are blocked, but he's unrelenting. Poirier just teeing off on Micklewright. Poirier keeps the pressure on. Clean right hand scores. Micklewright is definitely rocked, but he's standing in the pocket and firing back. Poirier continues to hammer away. SOme 20 punches come with Micklewright against the cage. Some are blocked, but Poirier is just pouring on the damage. Crowd calling for the towel, and Winslow finally steps in. Micklewright never went down, but after the fight is waved off, he collapses to the floor. Impressive stuff from Poirier Dustin Poirier def. Zack Micklewright vis TKO (punches) - Round 1, 0:53.

Can refs get nicknames too? I would go with "Snuff Film" for Kim.
