Being that Randy isnt a spring chicken, I can see Toney having a better shot than people are giving him, BUT Randy will weather the early punching storm and ground & pound him but I dont see this being a pretty fight to see.

"Boxing guys" won't use that as an arguement. The fact that it's 2 completely differnet sports make's it irrelevant. No one can say that MMA fighters are better than boxers or vice versa because they do different sports. Put Couture in a boxing match against Toney and Toney would likely win... I just hope Toney actually puts up a good fight and makes it somewhat interesting. Would be sweet if he won. Be like a punch in the face to Dana White.

toney needs to swing an uppercut in the first 10sec (his only chance to win) because randy is going to chute right away and go for the submission

I'm unfamiliar with MMA. When is the last time Randy has been in a fight? How old was he when he first started, if he's only had 28 fights and is 47 years old, that seems odd. His record is 18-10, is he really that good?

I'm surprised Dana would go down this road as he's tried to distance himself from the WWE freakshow atomsphere. The second Randy takes it to the ground he'll be tapping faster than he blinks

I saw an interview with James Toney the other day. It was barely intelligible but i think he muttered something jiu-jitsu and about tapping out King Mo in practice. At least when Randy taps him out, he'll know the name of the move that beat him. So long as it's a rear-naked choke.

Toney must connect in the first 30 seconds or it's over for him

Randy's been fairly active in the fighting scene recently. This should be an easy win for him, but he's been rocked many times in his last fights. At -600 I don't think it's a great play.

That was Ray Mercer, although he was known for his knockout power unlike James Toney.
