No doubt. I think the guy made an honest mistake. With all the training that these guys do though, it's really sad to see that happen.

Problem was it was near Wiman's corner and both the cornermen and Wiman wer yelling "he's out"! Not surprising Lavigne panicked and stopped it...instant reaction.

I was wondering myself if he was out until Lavigne pulled Danzig off. Hindsight is 20. Hopefully they don't give the guy too hard a time, i'm sure he feels bad enough as it is.

Griffin is like 3 feet tall. That doesn't leave much room for a neck, so a choke is tough... ;p

Jesus Dunham has Griffin's back for the final 3 minutes of the 3rd round and can't do shit..... he should lose just because he can't do anything to WIN a fight how it's supposed to be won. I don't like this Dunham kid, he is boring and doesn't show anything. Thank god one judge gave it 29-28 Griffin. At least that judge knows game.

Have you watched his other fights? He's super active, tons of heart, good power.. very promising guy. Griffin has always been grossly overrated

I did have a small play on him and it isn't the fact that I lost that bet, even if I had money on Dunham I would have expected better. It was a lame fight to say the least where he showed nothing that would ever win a championship. I know I know, everyone evolves and betters every fight but this was an extremely weak performance and even when he had dominant position he showed no real control. I can honestly see how a judge gave Griffin rounds 1 and 2 as a single takedown and getting back doesn't mean everything. Even when he had Griffin's back he wasn't gaining any points, it was merely laying around and then standing up just holding on.

If it really matters I'm 1-1 tonight -- had Wiman(sp) first up and Griffin 2nd. Have Rory Mac to beat CC this fight.

Tough loss for Macdonald. Macdonald has a lot of GSP potential in him though. That loss actually reminds me of GSP's first loss to Hughes where he tapped with 1 second left in round 1 vs Hughes in their first fight. What a classy guy though with a lot of heart and potential, he has a bright future in the UFC.
