I have some hope, my workmate who sits with me and is General Manager also happens to be a gambling degen so he's going to bring it up in his next meeting with directors! We are trying to formulate some sort of strategy right now and how to approach the subject without making it obvious that we actually spend 75% of our time on gambling related sites! Worse thing is that it was somebody external who works from home who put the virus on the server, yet they can still do what they want as they can just use their own internet at home!

work for a large retail company
I'm the corporate recruiter so that includes finding resumes finding candidates interviewing and salary negotiations
then I deal with all conflict resolutions as employee relations cases there are in te fields
And I handle all metrics and reporting for all hr functions

plus bull work like employee verifications, employee recognition awards and bonus

The HR people I know all work for smaller companies, usually government affiliated. Typically they are the person who, suppose I got called a f-a-g by another employee and I was upset, I would complain to.

Yeah hr is easy and there is money in it. No real stress either however no challenge for me.
Biggest challenge is for me to waste 40 hours

It's a "grass is always greener" situation. I'm exceptionally bad at waking up at set times, and I hate physical labour unless it's in the gym, so working from home is ideal for me. For others I know, they eventually got tired of it and really wanted to be out doing something. There's a big social aspect to it, too.
