    Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
    Venue: EnergySolutions Arena
    Broadcast: Versus
    • Jon Jones vs. Vladimir Matyushenko*
    • Jake Ellenberger vs. John Howard*
    • DaMarques Johnson vs. Matthew Riddle*
    • Joe Stevenson vs Takanori Gomi

    * - Not officially announced

    Looking good so far

    Dana and Joe Silva are obviously hating on Gomi, i would like to see him get at least one win.
    The reality of Gomis last fight, kflo spent 2.5 rounds on his feet when he could have taken gomi down and finished him right away. Now he has Joedaddy.

    The takedown caught Gomi by surprise and it seemed like he quit on the ground... Not sure why Dana is feeding Gomi to the dogs though.
    Maybe he has a personal vendetta against PridevsUFC.

      Gomi came in wanting to fight Penn. I'm sure he wants to fight top guys to get to the top. Would be kind of pointless having him come to the UFC, lose to Kenflo, and then fight easy fights.

                ya i think so also. Unless Gomi does a flip on his striking style, joe will have no problem ducking his power punching. And i dont think that gomi will survive the first trip to the ground. Gomi should have taken up Kenflo's offer to train.

                        When are they going to put jon jones against a real lhw contender. He destroyed hamill and vera who were both in the mix. I think that should set him up for a contender already no? Matyushenko is being used here for footage of ultimate knockouts 2010.

                                                          i felt a lot safer with jodaddy than tyson. Tyson will engage gomi on the feet, whereas, jodaddy would go right to his breadnbutter, where gomi is not dangerous. I still like tyson because he should be faster and assuming gomi keeps his style, tyson should have no trouble getting inside for combos.

                                                                I hope Jones loses, but this is unlikely. He should be fighting opponents that are much higher up in the division. He declined a couple fights, but was talking shit about Brandon Vera who wanted to go for the title shot as soon as possible. The UFC shouldn't give these guys any options as to who they are fighting. Fight who they say or don't fight at all. Any main event that favors someone on the UFC's own website by 93% is a little bit ridiculous, especially when no one dropped the fight and they didn't have to get a replacement.
