I guess if I'm trying to make an argument that my bet is okay, then I would say Hooper has fought the better competition, and has gone 5 rounds in a victory over Brokenshire (prob his toughest opponent) that he apparently did not prepare for and took the fight the night of (2 hours notice according to him). Meanwhile, Canaan has fought lesser competition and has not shown what he can do outside of round 1.

I'm excited for this fight. I really like both guys and I just wanted to have something so I leaned Hooper. I bet these Tuesday cards for fun. Wish I could say I was more serious with it, but I enjoy them too much.

Not gonna act all high and mighty here because there was no real concrete proof to any of these things that I said, but it pretty much played out exactly how my best guess could lead me. I don't think Hooper should get a contract though. He's too likely to get his ass handed to him in the UFC. He needs to grow up a little bit and fill that body out.

Always be wary of a guy who has never been out of the 1st round. They may not have the cardio, or even if they do have the cardio, they may not have the patience and composure to pace themselves because they're so used to getting the round 1 finish.

A lot of hype over Mike Davis in this one, but this is a 50/50 fight to my eyes. Yusuff has fought MUCH tougher competition than Davis. It's not even close really. And Davis is coming out of that Mike Perry basic ass FLA gym. I just don't trust the hype. Let's see if he proves me wrong, but I don't see any reason he is such a big fav.
