Just cause you stand up after the fact and act like you won, doesn't mean you weren't choked out at one point. Putting on a show, but he was out cold.

There was a point where he wasn't moving for like 2 or 3 seconds and the ref was a bit slow to check.

Ref felt his arm and it was limp but didn't call the fight smh. Same thing happened in the Oliveira/Condit fight last week.

To be fair to Merab though, he tried to survive for like 20 seconds in that choke, and was good enough at it where the ref didn't stop it during regulation time. So he technically should win.

But ref should've stopped it during regulation.
