#497sergio doing the right thing not calling out DJ yet because he wouldnt win that scrap and he has improvements to work on
for DJ it sucks though... nobody wants to fight him or make noise in the 25 division .... really sucks for himComment -

#502Hugo's first post is always his overall exact predictions for each fight outcome. Second post is the actual list of the bets (or no bets) he made on each fight on the card. Hugo is the man for always posting his predictions in such a professional manner. It is greatly appreciated! Good luck guys!
Also, ya guys might want to consider playing the Lomachencko Under 9.5 (-175) for his boxing match tonight airing on ESPN. Lomachenko will put on a good show and get if finished around rounds 6-8.Comment -

#504Pretty terrible card for betting. I won't be able to watch this one either so I might just sit out. I don't see much value in these plays, but my leans are Pettis, Sanchez, Rinaldi, and Ortiz. All should be close fights. The altitude and judging are big factors... all in all I think I'll likely pass on this card altogether.Comment -

Looked pretty obvious to me the Asian dude won the decision and Markos won with her wreslting advantage and octagon aggression...
Home town cooking in those 2 fights IMO. Cost me, sour grapes I think not..... Wouldn't matter either way I played it I would say the same about both fights... Robberies in broad daylight..

#507All in all that was a good fight night card after a pretty entertaining PPV last week. Even nicer was I won some money betting Alvey to win by decision on BetOnline and I hit a parlay on Heritage taking the over in the Alvey and Pettis fights.Comment -

Event outcome - Not worth copy and pasting all my plays this go around..
I started out strong with this event got up big early then was hit and miss the rest of the way.. Did not close out strong and it cost me.. Price, Hermansson wins were nice mid way thru... Those 2 Asian/Markos robberies really stung...
After going over my totals this morning I pretty much ended up breaking even. Walked away with a very small profit but nothing even worth mentioning.. I really thought I was gonna win this event mid way thru the card as well, very disappointing..
In a bit of a slump right now as that's 3 UFC cards in a row now I really haven't produced.. Not getting slaughtered but washed out on 2 and lost 1 for a small bit.. I don't ever remember going 3 cards in a row and not coming out on top. I'm capping these fights as well as best I can.. I'll bust out soon not worried, this sport always treats me right....

#511What did this event remind us about:
1. Be super duper careful betting against hometown fighters. This is especially true for Canada, Brazil, and Mexico raised to the power of 2. +180, +280, youre not winning anyway, stay the fakk away.
2. Be careful with fighters having multiple losses in first round. Sandoval increased his record losses of losing in the third round to 3. 100% of his losses has ended in round 1.
3. Age is still a factor. Both rashad and Joubain lost against fighters worse equipped athletically and technically. Price +150, Alvey -110. I failed to capitalise
4. MMA math absolutely works. Hermnasson won easily over Brad Scott after performing way better against their common opponent in Askham. Backed up by solid numbers on fightmetric, this should have been an easy read for the members of SBR. Luckily i capitalised.
5. Rani Yahya will probably never loose to a fighter lower ranked then 15. When will i ever learn? Same critique everytime. his old, his slow, his one dimensional, yet he is 11-2 his last 13 fights.Comment -

#512^^^Rani Yahya can beat anyone if he gets the fight to the ground and gets top position early on in fight.. He's still a one trick pony and won't win fights against fighters with very good wrestling and TD defense.. He's a lessor version of Demian Maia IMO...
I still think Rani Yahya isn't that good.. I'll fade him again against a very good wrestler with decent standup..

#522Gsp is what made me a ufc fan. When I first saw him get a takedown and how easy he made it look to keep you on the ground no matter how hard you tried to get up. UFC 65 against Matt Hughes my first ever fight I watched of him before that only saw highlights. He kicked him in the head and followed up with punches in round 2. He inspired me to fight and that you didn't need to always get finishes to be a good fighter since when I faught i only had a record of 3 wins 2 losses but 2 were finishes and one I dominated him on the ground for 3 rounds but i enjoyed that more and reminded me of gsp and complete domination. When he went the distance it made me feel like that's better than a quick knockout. Probing you could win the whole fight seems more impressive to me since a lot of knockouts are lucky and just from mistakes from the opponent. I had been following Alexander Gustafson since he was big in my home country of sweden but still he was always behind Gsp in my eyes. When Gsp retires again I will probably put him as my avatar and replace gsp. Wow too much talking lol.

#523all good amigo i like the passion of the game
i have a GSP poster on my wall currently haha , hes the best Canadian MMA fighter ever and could even be #1 P4P if you negate the other top 3 guys Jon Jones, Anderson and Fedor for juicing
im thinking ill go with my fav fighter who everybody loves to hate Conor Mcgregor , its funny because i watched a couple of his fights before he came into the UFC and thought he had a ton of talent and now i see him being the biggest boss in MMA also hes from the UK which is half of my ancestry , also got a sweet painting of him....
my final decision is my avatar will now be the NOTORIOUS CONOR MCGREGOR thankyou all

#524I can't think of a favorite fighter now as they all lost..Demian Maia and Cowboy Cerrone come to mind, was starting to like Jason Knight but Lamas knocked his head off basically.... Like Werdum as well and know him personally but he just lost to Reem...
Who else do I like now that is winning? Hmmm? I really don't know???? Stipe, Whittiker, Max Holloway and Tony Ferguson I'm all warming up to I guess... I like the way those 4 fighters fight in their divisions...Comment -
