^ I was referring to Frank Mir and not Palelei in my post.. Obviously they both have better head movement off the center line when trading punch for punch in the pocket over Bigfoot and Duffy.. Didn't think we had to get into specifics BJpenn..
Basic boxing concepts are not easily grasped and learned by HW grapplers and wrestlers in the UFC. Most of these HW's never boxed a day in their lives before getting into MMA.. Many were wrestlers first and or high level Jits grapplers and typically they don't ever move their head off the center line when first standing in a grappling or wrestling stance.... Maybe duck alot but not side to side..
Hard to teach an old dog new tricks in other words.. They typically fall back on what they know and abondon anything they recently learned in sparring sessions when in a real MMA fight.. That's my opinion anyways..
Amateur hour indeed....
